Audio/Video: The video is given in 1080P high definition 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color. The transfer has been re-mastered for release on BLU-RAY. The picture quality is average and not impressive for a high definition video. There are slight compression artifacts and noticeable traces of dirt/grain. The birate ranged from 10-30 MBPS, but typically was between 15-20. The lighting is not great. The scenes are shot outdoors on location in Tahiti and Bora Bora. For the most part they look pretty good. However Tera's scene is overexposed and it's almost unbearable to watch. It looks like a VHS tape gone bad. Not HD friendly. For the price, it should look better. The audio is given in 5.1 channel surround sound and 2.0 stereo. It is a little overkill (in my opinion) but sounds very good.

Body of Review: Island Fever 3 comes from Digital Playground and director Joone. It was shot in location in Tahiti and Bora Bora. The scenes are shot outdoors in the beautiful landscape and the audio is relaxing music (there is no sounds of sex, moaning or panting). The feature is more cinematic and erotic than hardcore. For the most part, while the girls look great I felt like it was a little too artistic for my tastes. Here's the scene by scene.

Scene 1: Jesse Jane and Devon

Jesse and Devon kick off the feature with some girl on girl action. The scene begins with the lovely gals fondling each other on the beach. They are topless with see-thru bottoms. Their bottoms come off pretty quickly. As the scene continues they stand and look sexy with a few kisses in between. The scene cuts and their bottoms are back on. The action isn't too hot, but more cinematically beautiful to watch the girls enjoy each other.

Concluding Words: As I mentioned early in the review I felt that Island Fever 3 was too artistic for my tastes. The video is cinematic and the girls look great naked and having sex, but the action is not very exciting. The entire audio track is relaxing, serene music and there are no sounds of the sexual act rubbed me the wrong way. I like to hear the performers make noise. I am also not a big fan of slow motion filming, which happened on occasion. I was also a little unhappy with the lack of variety from scene to scene. For the most part, the exact same things happen and since pretty much Jesse Jane or Devon are in the scenes, it is really like seeing the same thing over again. The scenes are also ridiculously short. So, I leave you with this thought: the video is probably a great couples flick and not that great for anything else.
