Extras: The 9:57 minute long Behind the Scenes feature credited to John Todoors (Evul Atheng editing and Jamal Johnson on camera per the feature itself though) was the best extra by far. It emphasized Teagan Presley and was heavy on the pop up video humor so it was a winner as far as I was concerned but Jenna's opening statement was great! There was also a slide show, a photogallery, and trailers to shows like Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge (Blu-ray), Island Fever 4 Blu-Ray, Jack's POV 1 Blu-Ray, Cheerleaders BR, Babysitters BR, Pirates BR, Contract Star BR, and Island Fever 3 BR.

Audio/Video Quality: Teagan Presley Video Nasty was presented in the usual 1.78:1 ratio widescreen color as envisioned by director Celeste for Digital Playground in the usual AVC codec reserved for high definition releases; the resolution clocking in at 1080. The high end equipment and skilled crew of regulars assisted director of photography Robby to make this release look really sharp; losing the artistic style that doesn't always work so well for me. In fact, the technical matters showed Robby's influence serving nicely to ground the scenes with less of the arty farty filters and effects that the director sometimes uses. The lighting was generally solid here, reducing the grain, video noise, and other defects that sometimes arise in making porn on a budget; favoring a clear focus in some cases that I was convinced worked very well. Nick P. was the editor and he did okay with the footage provided him, some of the camerawork making it tougher to clean up but still better than the director's earlier works. The DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts; with the bitrate for the visuals hovering around the mid 19.2 Mbps this time with few flaws but not as low in resolution as previous efforts in related showcase efforts from prior to last year. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English using a 448 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate; over twice that of most porn made these days, with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, but the vocals did not always dominate the audio track as I like it so your mileage may vary. There wasn't much separation between the channels, if any outside of the intermittent music, but the ladies were always clearly heard here.

Body of Review: Celeste is probably the only "conceptual" director working at Digital Playground these days, her input allowing for a wider variety of movies according to her main squeeze, Robby D. While porn has always been a majority of one in terms of what works for viewers, her track record for turning me on has been decidedly mixed, thankfully not dominating the landscape at the company. Well, next month she will be releasing Teagan Presley Video NastyBlu-ray and as popular as Teagan has proven to be, seeing her in two unreleased scenes from her b/g days (though only one of them involves a guy) should help interest a larger audience. The theme of the series involves gals getting nastier than usual and while that is pretty much impossible for Teagan (who entered porn as a gonzo gal willing to do just about anything), the rest of the cast was interesting as well. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Teagan Presley, the hotty featured on the right side of the cover, and superstar Jenna Haze, featured on the left side, were up first in an anal laced lesbian scene. The frisky duo were on a large bed, spanking and dirty talking each other, Jenna dominating as Teagan teased. They used toys to stretch ass and played with a camera to provide an alternative angle for editor Nick P. to blend into the production. The roughness they showed while getting off did make it seem nastier than usual for Teagan, the pair fingering and going down on each other as primary sex acts. Both ladies did anal and taste testing too, the almost haphazard manner in which they played working for me more than a little in terms of strokability and replay value.

Scene Two: Gianna, the bountiful beauty so many of us at Xcritic adore, was up next in a scene shot awhile back when she was getting quite large (and in charge). The curvy babe walked in on Mick Blue and Tony DeSergio in a living room setting, forcing them to play nice together lest she withhold her curvy delights from them (talk about an incentive to behave!). The men nuzzled her breasts and went down on her, Gianna sucking them off in turns as well as actively riding their cocks until they launched sizable quantities of genetic juice to her face. If you like women built for comfort over speed, the kind with an ample sample of flesh, you will appreciate the quality of this one.

Scene Three: Teagan Presley, wearing a skimpy blue dress that did little to cover her panties, was up next with former husband Tyler Durden in bed. Regardless of where their relationship went, I'd be in denial if I said they did not share some chemistry together; the couple getting each other off easily. He was slightly rough with her as he spanked her tiny ass and acted like he was going to punch her, eating her out nearly as well as she blew him when the time came. They really savored giving each other head, unlike so many in the industry that do it because it is a requirement. Teagan overacted a bit during this portion of the flick but came around during an active vaginal & anal ride in several positions. Teagan did some taste testing and Tyler choked her, the yellowish tint of the scene making me wonder who set up the camera that morning. The anal was so good that Teagan continued to finger her ass even as she took his facial of population pudding, the post coital sucking adding to the value of the day.

Scene Four: Brianna Love, the currently retired babe that I long liked, was up next as she took on both Marco Banderas and Tommy Gunn. Tommy played her husband she was cheating on and the furious guy walked in on their tryst, giving Marco lessons on how to do her right. She is the blond squatting in blue on the left side of the front cover, her fleshy form put through the paces orally and vaginally as the men plugged her holes. Scene Five: Starla Sterling, another fleshy bleach blond, was up next as she wore her leotard to stretch in front of Tony DeSergio in the living room. His unintentionally humorous facial expressions aside, the curvy gal was another built for comfort over speed, her blowjob the best thing about her scene. She was a passive rider until she got on top but this was another scene that just never found a solid pace to work out right. It also ended too soon as he rubbed out a wad of spew to her face, Starla wincing at the sight of his semen.

Scene Six: Jenny Hendrix, a newcomer when this was shot, was up last with Ben English, an abrupt edit taking them from the living room to the bedroom where he smacked her fine ass. Jenny moaned loudly at his rough treatment but encouraged him to continue by stripping his clothing off to offer him a blowjob. She then inhaled his meat pipe before riding it actively, her sweet fleshy ass rippling as she bounced. Jenny was nasty here (in a good way though) but I wish there had been more footage used including more tease.

Summary: Teagan Presley Video Nasty Blu-ray by director Celeste for Digital Playground might not have been the best release of her career but it did have two full scenes including lovely Teagan Presley so it merited a rating of Recommended . I know most of the high definition upgrades I review don't quite make it to a higher rating due to the much, much higher price but compared to the other Teagan titles on the market, including her elusive g/g-only new stuff for Skinworxxx, but she was certainly a firecracker on my big screen television.  The technical considerations and casting added up to some interesting choices but I could also see why the company sat on this one for so long, fans of the ladies sure to at least find it strokable a time or two regardless. In short, Teagan Presley Video Nasty should find an audience next month when it is released thanks to the inclusion of Teagan in a couple of previously unreleased scenes from the company vaults, the series showing how creativity doesn't always translate into a first rate product, yet occasionally resulting in a pretty decent outing after all.
