Extras: The only extra I cared for was the 3:39 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that showed what was going on behind the scenes of making the movie.  There were also trailers for Hustler titles, a slide show, and some spam with the cover sporting a second side that displayed related titles in the series.

Audio/Video Quality: Jugs of Authority was presented in a fetching 1.78:1 widescreen color by director Mark Kismet for Hustler Video using the AVC codec; a standard on Blu-Ray discs; the standard definition version in MPEG-2 with the usual 480p resolution compared to the 1080i resolution of the high definition version, partially made up for by the SD's anamorphic nature). My knowledge of the SD version of the title allows me to compare the two; it lacked the better resolution and purity of fleshtones this version had, the bitrate often hovering around 19.2 Mbps area compared to less than a third that in the SD version which seemed to hover around the 4.8 Mbps mark. The use of video bothers some folks but it suited the nature of the show far more than film would have and the contrasts were all enhanced by the high definition approach. There were no obvious compression artifacts, no grain to speak of, and I saw no macro-blocking or other issues that pop up; thanks in no small part to the proper lighting applied here. The summation of the visuals is that they made the show look better than ever, my sole complaint being that the composition of the camera angles and editing, while good, did not seem to be the best way to enhance the looks of some of the ladies. The gals were all busty and youthful as the advertising promotes, each of them offering up something different in terms of their sexual appeal. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English using a 224 Kbps bitrate at 48 kHz in both versions. The vocals on the scenes were flat and even in most cases, the voice-overs sounding somewhat warmer in tone and always easier to hear, and the minimal music seemed to come from the stock library used for years by the series. In terms of upgrades then, the visuals got the largest boost by a wide margin with the aural capabilities once again cleaned up but only slightly (and in the BTS, I could barely hear the gals speak on occasion).

Body of Review: Hustler Video is one of the few companies in porn with the financial resources to outlast the current economic times, their flashes of solid product mixed with a whole lot of mediocrity driven by the so-called "bottom line". As a long time fan of founder Larry Flynt's efforts to make adult material legal, I can objectively say that if I had one wish for the company, it would be to make the best product possible regardless of cost, becoming the industry leader they have never tried to be in the past. Their latest release on both standard definition and Blu-ray is from director Mark Kismet for a spin off title called Busty Beauties: Jugs of Authority, a selection of five generic vignettes starring familiar faces engaged in sexual misconduct. If you like big breasts as much as I do, you will at least want to know what took place here, the increased resolution of the high definition version looking quite fetching, to say the least. With names like Jada Fire, Whitney Stevens, and Abbey Brooks on hand to demonstrate their chest heavy performance skills, I think a number of you will at least be checking this one out if not keeping a copy for your personal collections. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: TSA: Jada Fire, a curvy black gal working for the TSA, was up first as she inspected Talon for suspected weapons in a back room. Her metal detector kept buzzing so she had him removing his garb, the smile on her face growing larger as she finally got him naked, confessing she made a mistake. He was going to report her and to satisfy his anger, she removed her own clothing, the two settling in for a generic scene where they gave each other head before vaginally bumping uglies. There was some additional titty play here and the camera was aimed in the right direction to showcase her chest, but the overall look of the show was definitely substandard despite Jada's wonderful set of skills coming into play. The alleged pop show showed no wad of genetic juice, the suggestion that it was a creampie not even put on display as the scene cut away so quickly. Blah!

Scene Two: Army Girls: Abbey Brooks and Dylan Ryder were up next as they looked for enemy activity while on guard outside wearing hooker versions of military outfits. Both ladies were falling out of their crop tops and Dylan spent more time checking Abbey out than tending her duties. This led to a general discussion about how lame men are, the gals passing the time by making out. They ate each other out and sucked on titties, some spanking and crotch rubbing rounding out the carnal activities. The limited toy use for penetration was okay but the technical matters were as poorly conceived as the set up here, greatly weakening the results for me.

Scene Three: Fire Fire: Whitney Stevens, the curvy brunette spotted on the front cover, was up next as she chastised hotdog cooking TJ Cummings. She used a hose to spray him down on her first day, thinking she was saving the day when she was merely fucking up his dinner. This led to the two working out a deal where they took off their clothing on the windy day, her brightly colored bikini seemingly out of place under her uniform. TJ spent extra time on her tits, the couple kissing and pawing each other before the oral sex started. The two then began to vaginally bone with Whitney a moderately active ride. Her tits shook as he plugged away on her pussy, the home movie look of the scene distracting to me though she did appear to like his wealth of population pudding gracing her breasts at the end.

Scene Four: Very Personal Trainer: Rachel Solari, a curvy bleach blond trainer was up next with muscular John West in the home gym, her tits distracting him from a proper workout. She was fussing at him for concerning himself with her tits and he eventually responded by grabbing her, placing her down on the exercise mat, and then going down on her. This worked wonders at improving her less than sunny disposition, her tits getting squeezed a lot by the gal before she slobbed his knob with a quick blowjob, the act taking place after a few positions of vaginal pounding. When all was said and done, he jerked off to her tits and face, some seed going all over the place.

Scene Five: Teacher: Violet Addamson, an older MILF playing a school teacher, was up last as she fussed at Sascha for doing his homework in German. He told her that he wasn't good at English, only fucking and she claimed she wanted to see just how good so they went to a secure room away from the classroom to go at it. She blew him and he felt her up, her active vaginal ride actually pretty well done. The premise was weak and the execution of the technical values poor but even a lack of chemistry could not kill the heat in this scene for me. It ended with a titty pop for those who care, Violet providing some post coital sucking before her offer of extra credit.

Summary: Jugs of Authority by director Mark Kismet for Hustler Video attempted to translate the dynamic of women in positions of authority into a series of heated vignettes of carnal play but often fell short thanks to the limits of how the scenes were scripted, the relative lack of tease, and the acting skills so many of them brought to the table (ie: none) but there was barely enough to merit a rating of Rent It if you like seeing busty babes going at it. In short, Busty Beauties: Jugs of Authority did have the requisite women in positions of authority but lacked the vision to use them to their best advantage, some on the fly ad-libbing not working out as well as the director probably thought would occur.
