New Sensations’ newest in-house director William is far from a beginner. The 17-year veteran can rightfully be called one of the forefathers of gonzo porn, with his unique way of shooting—very hard, very primal but with a touch of elegance. From re-building Elegant Angel back to prominence as part of an outstanding team of gonzo directors, to working his magic at Jules Jordan Video and Hard X, William H is now at New Sensations to give the studio a shot of raw, steamy, straight to the sex action. With Wetter Better Asses featuring what can arguably be declared the top tier of last year’s best new starlets—Abella Danger, Megan Rain, Yhivi, Brittany Shae—William H is back to bring us sizzling anal sex action with oiled up babes against a white a background, reminding us all that in porn, the focus should always be on the girl. Wetter Better Asses also reminds us that virtually anything William H shoots turns into porn gold.

You’ve been all over the porn map, directing for Elegant Angel, Jules Jordan, and now New Sensations. Do you feel you’ve found a permanent home with New Sensations?

I would like to have a permanent home. Time will tell.

The studio isn’t known for hard gonzo sex. Do you feel your style of shooting will work well with, and/or compliment the style of most New Sensations releases which tends to be softer, vignette/feature oriented?

That’s my hope. It gives fans the option for another flavor if they’re in the mood for it.

Have you been given free reign creatively to shoot however way you want?

More than I’ve had since HardX and Elegant. They have been very cool to me.

Wetter Better Asses follows the wet/oil gonzos you popularized at Elegant Angel, carried into Jules Jordan and now shooting for New Sensations. Why do you feel this has become so popular? In your opinion, what makes an oiled down starlet so appealing?

I believe it’s the all-white background making the girl the only thing you see. All the focus is on the girl.

This title has a terrific cast of young starlets, including Abella Danger and Megan Rain, arguably the most popular new starlets from the past year. Was this the first time you worked with them and what was your overall opinion of their scenes, their performance ability and work ethic they brought to set each day?

I have shot them both multiple times. They are great performers that love what they do and are very professional. You can tell they care about their craft and performance.

Do you feel performers today are as strong performance-wise as the performers from when you first got into the business? Back then there was Belladonna, Gianna Michaels, Jenna Haze, Eva Angelina, Hillary Scott . . . Do you see any performers today in that league?

I do. I think the more recent girls may have to work harder because there are much more girls today.

What’s your overall take on the business today? Have we seen its best days or do you feel better times are ahead?

I am hopping it reinvents itself for the better to survive. I believe there will always be a market in some form. Guy’s will always want to watch beautiful women having sex. The free porn on the web is a huge problem for people selling it. This has been an issue for years. Remember all the companies in porn 10 years ago? You can still sell to a certain degree but it has to be good. It has to have something about it that people want to see.

What can the fans expect now that you’re on the New Sensations’ roster? What will you be delivering to them?

This is my 17th year in the business and I have had success in many different genres. I don’t know if my movies are the type you would watch with your girlfriend, but my hopes are that both our styles can work together, giving the viewer variety. I did some award winning vignettes for Elegant Angel. I would like to do another vignette sometime. For now I’m sticking with gonzo. I would like to bring squirting back. Those movies have great visuals and are very fun. I like showcase flicks that focus on the talents of one girl. I just did a combo of those two genres with Latina Squirt Goddess starring Veronica Rodriguez. New Sensations is doing something right because they are still here while so many companies have come and gone. I want this to work out for the benefit of both of us and the fans. I try to give the fans what they want. If I receive a bunch of tweets about something the fans want I will try my best to make it happen. It’s an exciting time.
