Major Milestone: Don Houston Passes 6,225 Reviews

In 2002, when he penned his first review for the adult section of DVD Talk, we had no idea that he'd become the most published adult critic in history. Don had been busily plugging away on a number of sites reviewing before he decided to call DVD Talk his first real reviewing home.

In 2007 we spun off XCritic from DVD Talk and it quickly became one of the top adult publications online. Don grew along with XCritic amassing over 6,225 complete Adult DVD Reviews. While IAFD.com shows mostly the XCritic reviews, Don has several thousand other reviews under his belt making him the most published adult critic in history. Beyond the numbers, Don is one of the few critics to ever vote in every major adult award show including AVN, XBiz, XCritic and XRCO, and with each one Don watched each and every nominated title, all the way through, without exception.

Anyone who has ever met Don knows his amazing heart, generosity and deep caring. Don is one of the biggest advocates for the industry and constantly champions for adult producers and talent to do the best work they possiably can (even if that means tough love sometimes). At this major milestone Don is showing no signs of slowing down, in fact the amount of reviewing he's done has dramatically increased, with a mindboggling average of 20-25 titles per week.
