Sex, Stats, and Surprises: Exploring the Gender Divide in Pornhub Searches

Today we will talk about the differences between men and women when searching on Pornhub. When investigating what men were most interested in, they discovered that what interested them most was Japanese porn. This category has held first place since last year. The Mature category increased +1, and Anal increased +3. In the case of women, the Lesbian category was the most searched, followed by Japanese and Threesomes. If we compare with last year, we see that the first three favorite categories of women compared to men did not change.

The category least explored by women was Bondage and then Big Dick. Who would say that, right? Finally, an important detail is that there was a proportional growth of +1% of female viewers in the year 2023, and it continues to grow annually since they started studying it in 2015. When they began in 2015, female visitors represented 24% of the audience. But now, by increasing this 1%, the total proportion of female visitors worldwide has risen to 36%. What progress, and what good news! But this makes me wonder why the increase in female viewers stopped growing rapidly in 2020 since the annual growth was 3% in previous years.
