Sarah Shevon interview

At first, one would think that Sarah Shevon is a tender kitten, but then, you realize that she can give as good as she receives once you get to know her. She is a woman who can deliver sensual performances as well as the rough and tumble gonzo work. It's kind of a surprise that Sarah has not had many opportunities to be the dominant one in a scene. Hey directors and studio heads, she's ready to pounce on someone. I consider Sarah an extreme queen. But, personally, when it comes down to it, she's a sweetheart.   

Hi Sarah, how long have you been in the industry? What have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable?

I started with Kink.com in March of 2009, but it wasn't until July of 2010 that I moved down to L.A. to be a Spiegler Girl, so I've been preforming for over three years now, but it seems like it has been about two years to the majority. I've had plenty of pleasurable moments, that is what I do! Not sure how to choose favorites, really. My highlights are generally things like gangbangs, DPs, fistings, ect. It is much easier pointing out the less pleasurable moments, I really don't want to go there, but I will say that one person is on my "no" list.   

How did you get into the adult industry?

I got referred to Kink.com. I also got referred to Mark Spiegler. I didn't know where I was going with it when I started. I basically threw myself in the deep end to see what would happen. Initially, I was planning on being a stripper because I was severely burnout from my corporate office job, then I ended up trying porn first and it worked out.     

Has any of your fans recognized you on the street or at the store? How does it feel?

No fans have recognized me on the street yet, unfortunately. I have met some of my fans at conventions and at a movie screening. It feels really great to meet them because they're so supportive.  

What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy?

I've always found women to be the more attractive gender. We are just made that way. I think that most women, if not all, would agree even if they are not gay/bi at all. In particular, I am most drawn to the shapes of their hips and asses sexually. I believe everyone is even if they don't notice it. When it comes to men, they are generally focused on their own cock. I find it sexy if they care about anything else, especially the women's pleasure before their's.

I enjoyed your work with Girlfriends Films a whole lot. What is it about making love to a woman that gets you so turned on?

The thing I like about having sex with women the most is that they take the entire body into consideration, unlike how most men only think about their cocks. It is generally very sensual having sex with women because of this. Every time I have sex with women I feel like we are exploring each other entirely, which is always very exciting!

What was your experience being on the set of Spider-Man XXX and performing that sex scene?

Spider-man XXX was my longest day on set ever. I started at 9 a.m., did a little dialogue, then the sex didn't start until about 5:30 a.m. the next morning. So we were lucky to pull-off the act considering the circumstances. I really thought that scene was going to flop, but I tried really really hard to make it work, and afterwards the male talent told me it was the first time he came on camera without setting it up.

Would you had wanted to have sex with the superhero?

Sure, it'd most likely be harder to fuck in superhero costumes, but I would've loved to do that.

I also enjoyed your emotional scene with Rocco Reed in Downtown Girls Volume 2. What are your thoughts on filming anal sex on screen? Do you feel nervous the night before the shoot?

Anal sex doesn't make me nervous. I've been doing it before I got into the industry, and my first sex scene was an anal gangbang in fact. I have done quite a bit of anal shot live too. It doesn't make me any more nervous. In general, I feel more familiar with my asshole than my pussy, but I recently figured out how to make myself squirt so I've been having loads of fun ejaculating all over everything.

What has been the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry?

My biggest surprise has to be when Belladonna jumped into the sex scene that was only suppose to be with Sinn Sage and myself, in "Belladonna: Sexual Explorer" (Evil Angel). I'm sure Sinn and I would have done a fantastic scene on our own, but having Belladonna join in like that was not only a huge surprise, we both were shocked and didn't know what we could get away with doing to her, but it really made the scene something special and it ended up getting an AVN Award nomination.  

Are there any other particular industry talent (actors, actresses, directors, studios) who you want to work very badly with and why? What would be your dream scene?

Well, I've already got to work with Belladonna. She was my favorite before I even considered doing porn (I never paid attention to the male talent LOL), and now that I've worked with her, I just want to work with her more. She is such a beautiful person. I generally feel like I just want to work with the same people more if we have good chemistry. I often feel unsure about requesting people because you don't know what it'll actually be like until you do it. In regards to directors and studios, I'd really just like a chance to work for more of them. I seem to shoot for the same companies a lot, which is great and I'd love to continue doing that, but surely there are more out there. One of my dream scenes would be getting the chance to try double anal or double vag in a gangbang, that is something I have left to check off my list. I would also like to be able to play more dominate roles. I am often in submissive roles and it makes me feel like I've got to hold back instead of doing what comes natural.   

How were you as a kid growing up?

I was very independent throughout my adolescence. My parents were hippies and let me find my own way. They didn't put religion or anything like that on me. Then, they also divorced when I was about 7. I lived with my dad, and he was the more lenient one and worked a lot so I was really kind of on my own. Since I can remember, I was always really into cats, dressing up, doing make-up, dancing, and art. I started getting into theater in middle school, and almost started a mainstream modeling and acting career when I was 14 until I found out that I had to be chaperoned everywhere. I decided to put it off until I was over 18, but then I was thinking more about college at that point in my life.

What are your hobbies and interests? If I saw you singing inside of your car, what songs would you be rocking out to?

I'm pretty much into all the things that I've always been. I haven't been dancing or enjoying music that much lately, but I'd like to get back into it more. I should also be doing more art. I feel like my life revolves mostly around work these days, even when I'm not working, most of my energy goes towards that, like working out at the gym or shopping for shoot clothes. I actually hate singing. I find it to be the most humiliating thing personally. I almost want to take a singing class though to get past my fear of it. I might actually have a nice singing voice if I tried.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

I've always been an exhibitionist. My parents wouldn't take me anywhere when I was really little because I'd always try to take off all my clothes in public. I like being naked and having people watch me have sex, always have. I also like getting a chance to act once in awhile. To me, it seems like I've always been training towards this, considering some of the things I've always been into. I am very comfortable in front of the camera.

What is your shoe size?

I usually wear an 8.5 in US women's shoes.  

Are you an animal lover? Do you have any pets?

Yes, I love animals! Cats are my favorite, I have one. Her name is Kitty.

Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote? What are you currently working on film wise?

I webcam, usually I promote that, but I'm not even sure which webcam site I should be mentioning right now. I've been pretty dedicated to KinkLive.com, but I'm starting to do it from home mostly using Streamate.com and MyFreeCams.com, but I also signed up to SkinVideo recently. I don't have a website. I've always wanted to feature dance, so I plan on looking into that soon. I've also been thinking about making clips to sell online, but I haven't actually started making them yet. I am kind at a point of change.
