Lions, Sharks, And Katy Perry’s Outfits – Oh My!

Personally, I don’t care about the Super Bowl halftime show. That time is reserved for bathroom breaks and beer runs, but I’ll admit I kind of stayed around to watch this year and the reason why… Katy Perry is hot. While her outfits weren’t as skimpy as I had hoped, they were still pretty awesome.

Every since Janet Jackson had her famous “wardrobe malfunction” the NFL has been pretty strict about the halftime dress code. Perry’s stylist, Jeremy Scott had to get each outfit approved before the big show.    

"After we had everything finalized and knew what we wanted to do, Katy’s management presented it for approval."

While some people would yell and scream about artistic freedom and refuse to make changes, Scott went with the flow and created some pretty great outfits.  

"It’s tongue-in-cheek, there’s humor — you know, the beach balls — but there’s nothing that’s risqué. But, I mean, I’ve worked with [Katy] so long, I know her body really well; everything is constructed to hold her and keep her."

Though, Perry is a rather attractive woman who probably would have looked great in jeans and t-shirt.   So, we may not have gotten a great cleavage shot or even a nip slip, we did get one wild show. Perry looked great and in the end, that’s all the really matters.
