Waterproof Companion – Fusion Edition

Evolved Novelties is helmed by none other than Greg Alves, the man known for putting Metro on the map, starting up Zero Tolerance,
and more recently fighting asshat pirates successfully, winning a
multimillion dollar judgement.  So, why does Greg think he can carve
out a niche in an ultra competitive market dominated by the likes of
Doc Johnson, Adam & Eve, TopCo, and a few others?  First, he teamed
up with equally well known Gregg Alan, a guy you may know as the head
honcho at Diabolic  (another favorite production company of mine) and the two took a
different approach.  Rather than go cheap with their toys, they decided
to take it slow and easy, using high end materials and quality testing
practices, resulting in toys like the Waterproof Companion in their Fusion line of products. Having extensively tested the company's line a number of times of late, I know that they tend to be made really well (in China no less) with each of my testing partners clamoring to get them as they come in (pun intended).

The quick version of this review is that the light pink toy combines the top half of the Waterproof Gemini with the curved portion of the Waterproof Duality to make a nice variation in the series.

Measuring in at 10" tall and thinner than either the Amore or the Honey Bunny,  this light pink device was like a next step toy as it added a second vibrator with a separate motor to generate additional vibrations on the other end, effectively making it a double headed vibrator.  The settings were identical to the well received Waterproof Gemini and Duality mentioned above that I told you about previously, as described below, but the outer shell had been modified to provide a slightly different experience. What set
it apart right away was the cool packaging, a plain white sleeve
surrounding a nice metal case with foam inside, hinges holding the top
onto the body.  To date, everyone I have shown this company's toys to, love the assorted cases they come in, a few people actually asking me for the cases even when the toys were not quite to their liking.  The curved "hook" on the end of the toy was an interesting touch according to my friend as well, the bump just above it hitting her "spot" as she calls it.

The Waterproof Companion takes four
AAA batteries (yes, four of them) and unlike the True Love series, this
device is less about raw power than a focused set of pulses that work really well for some people.  This one was made of a harder form of plastic that some people don't like as much as the jelly style but the bumpy curved top was suited for one opening on her while the other dug into her G-Spot pretty nicely, giving her a toy she could use in both holes without stopping during a heated session to clean it off (going pussy to ass and back is a bad idea given the likelihood of infections).

After she left, I tested it to check the waterproof nature of the device
and it passed with flying colors, the controls on the middle of the toy
being a couple of simple push buttons that were easy to control; one of them controlling overall vibration from one motor while the other controlled the pulsations with a few weird patterns that might take some getting used to.  The "O" ring kept water from
destroying the electronics and it was quite easy to clean, making it Recommended given how it was made of a material she wasn't as fond of and the controls did not give as much confidence that they would remain contamination free.

Seen from the front, the curve at the bottom is less prominent but still effective.

If the Waterproof Companion is any
indication of things to come, I suspect both gentlemen will be making
more money from toys than their award winning movies (though I hope
they continue to provide both).  For the record, this was part of the
"Fusion Edition"  line and it was made in China for the socially conscious
but you'll want to stock up on extra batteries while experimenting since it takes twice as many!   The rest of the tech specs were found in our
forums as follows:

Lastly,
it mentions it is RoHS compliant which essentially means the device is
free of many specific health hazard chemicals, this from the RoHS
website in the EU:

The definition and aim of the RoHS directive is quite simple. The RoHS
directive aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used
in electronic and electronic equipment. Any RoHS compliant component is
tested for the presence of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg),
Hexavalent chromium (Hex-Cr), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). For Cadmium and Hexavalent
chromium, there must be less than 0.01% of the substance by weight at
raw homogeneous materials level. For Lead, PBB, and PBDE, there must be
no more than 0.1% of the material, when calculated by weight at raw
homogeneous materials. Any RoHS compliant component must have 100 ppm
or less of mercury and the mercury must not have been intentionally
added to the component. In the EU, some military and medical equipment
are exempt from RoHS compliance.
