Vibo Kit

Most toys we review at Xcritic focus on a limited application, be it a "pocket pussy", a generic vibrator, or any of the thousands of toys routinely purchased to give us pleasure so I was slightly intrigued by a marketing claim made to me a few days ago regarding a kit that could fit on "any" vibrator to make it better, a "one size fits all" sales pitch built upon the premise of upgrading what we already had rather than as a standalone product. The ViboKit largely fit the bill as marketed but included a solid basic vibrator too, the results a little disappointing from the bed testing experience Nadine and I had.

The basic "kit" portion of the package included three components, a vibrating ring with a clitoral stimulator, a "G-spot" ring, and a "ViboSuck" (trademarked nonetheless). Each of these devices fit on a general vibrator to enhance the action, the clitoral stimulator being the only one that truly upgraded the device for sexual pleasure (according to Nadine). The G-spot device did nothing for the Grafenberg spot, though it did provide some modest texture for the vaginal opening, and the ViboSuck has a spotty ability to adhere to surfaces even when they are smooth and flat with no porous aspect to them. The box the device came in was interesting enough, standing out as it was white with pink trim.

The best thing about the kit other than the clitoral stimulator was the basic vibrator itself, a silver metallic device with a rotating potentiometer at the base to increase the vibrations to a decent level. Powered by two "C" batteries, it lasted much longer than many toys that rely on double or triple "A" versions, the three watch batteries powering the stimulator going for a decent amount of time but falling short by comparison. Still, the selling point of the entire package is not the tossed in metallic colored vibrator (which is not, unfortunately, waterproof), but the three pieces themselves, a great many vibrators too small or too large for them to fit. Nadine hated the packaging (saying it looked "cheesy") and while she enjoyed the clitoral stimulator, the going price for the kit was over $30 (way too high for the one functioning part of the kit, especially when the water from the shower shorted out the metallic vibrator, so I rated this as a Skip It. The box cover described the item in various languages, the English version saying this: "Ride it girl! Easily put this universal suction cup on every vibrator you want and you can fix it to anything, from your bathtub to the bedroom door. It brings literally a hands free orgasm in every room and on every surface! But that is not all. Have even more pleasure with your vibrator. Put the ring and the clitoris stimulator in the right position and your vibrator will be upgraded to reach a higher level of pleasure."
