I have to admit, when it comes to anal toys, I am little bit of newbie. I reviewed the Vivid Pleasure Wand, a few years back and it was a little bit of a disaster. Jumping back into the anal pool, I decided to start with something that didn't vibrate, wasn't huge, and was labeled as 'beginner'. Thus the Snug & Tug, a mid priced toy which combines a cock ring with a weighted anal plug.

 One of the things I really appreciate is that this toy comes with B-Vibe's general guidebook to anal play. This little booklet is very helpful for the anal newbie, and I didn't feel like I was being talked down to. In additoin to the general guide, the Snug & Tug comes with very detailed instructions.

This is a toy you will 100% want to read the directions on, as it makes inserting it (and more importantly removing it) a lot easier.  This was my first experience with both a plug like this and a cock ring, and I was very successful with getting it alll set up without too much of a hastle. More importantly, this thing isn't all that challenging for someone who isn't well versed in anal play.  Once all in place, the Snug and Tug is ideal for prostate stiumlation. It's not so big that it's uncomfortable and it does absolutely enhance orgasms. The weighted aspect of the plug is suble but noticable when really thrusting. 

I'm honestly surprised how relatively comfortable this thing is when wearing it, and was very pleased how much my partner really liked the ring part of this toy and it added a lot more clitoral stimulation.

The Snug & Tug is made from quality silicone. I'd easily put this in the premium category, expertly designed, very well manufactured, and with very clear and well illustrated instructions.

Dipping the toe in the anal play space can be intimidating, but the B-Vibe provides a very good starting point that won't break the bank. I can't see how this toy could be any better, which is reason I'm giving it our top rating: the XCritic Pick.
