Okay, in my quest to find the perfect sex toy(s), I have searched all over the place, looking at the catalogs of various companies and browsing all sorts of seedy porn shops in the Houston area. One of the things I've found in my quest has been that most toys are either low priced and cheaply made, or vastly more expensive and (possibly) better made (cost does not always translate to an indicator of better quality craftsmanship).  The latest toy came from the nice folks at Adam & Eve, a powerhouse in the porn and sex "novelty" market, called Eve's Slim Pink Pleaser.  The toy measures about 7" long by 1" thick, the perfect size for most ladies I've met up with in my sorted life time.  It takes two AA batteries and for the purpose of this review, I used Duracell Coppertop's fresh out of the package.  Coming in at under $20, I didn't expect this one to hold up very well but despite some of the comments found on the customer review section of the company website, it seemed to be in good shape after a long, very hard, bout of boning.

Like most vibrators these days, the device allowed the user to adjust the speed of the vibrator, the bullet located at about a third of the way down the shaft from the top (which is where the "sweet spot" for the strongest vibrations would be).  I tested the toy to see if the advertised "water proof" claim was accurate since I had my doubts and in three separate dunking tests, one leaving it under 6" of water for a few minutes, it had no problems. Still, the o-ring seal did not look very reassuring so don't get in the habit of trying this at home unless you relish sending it back for a replacement (the company is one of the best in the business for warrantee's and being costumer friendly since they thrive on repeat business).  Make sure the locking cap is secure before any need for water proof fun comes up though since I doubt you will be happy if you fail to take this precaution.

There were little bumps, called "nubs", on the base of the toy to provide clitoral stimulation but in fairness, I really didn't think they made much of a difference in the quality of the play we engaged in.  The bigger selling point was the firm jelly material used for the shaft, not as flimsy as most such toys on the market but not so hard as the plastic toys of yesteryear either; a healthy middle ground that was praised specifically by Carey when she was using the toy in front of me on the couch.  Like all such toys, it advises you remove the batteries when not in use (too many toys are ruined when the batteries leak, a more common occurrence in years gone by but not unheard of these days either), but they lasted all through some lengthy sessions without fading so the standard size bullet must have been the one inside the device.

My concerns about the o-ring and base where the batteries when in were the biggest factors in the rating of the "build" quality, the company having made more secure locking mechanisms in the past.  The vibrations were moderate, about what I would expect of a toy in this price range but enough for a gal pal to get off with.  In general then, I would suggest that Adam & Eve's Eve's Slim Pink Pleaser was worth a rating of Recommended or better if you want a decent little toy to entertain with or give as a gift to a lady friend, no malfunctions taking place in several sessions.  The clitoral stimulation advertised on the front of the package might not have been "amazing" but it was enough to get a gal off reasonably easy, making it a value buy so check it out over on Adam & Eve's website!
