If you read any of the regular toy reviewers here (and elsewhere mind you), they seem to really enjoy a lot of ass play on average, making it their kind of "secret" kink when it comes to the sensations felt.  This is not surprising considering the way mainstream society treats anything anal as dirty, nasty...er, bad, and dismisses the idea that all those nerve endings can be rallied forth to provide a great deal of pleasure.  Handled properly, anal play can be clean, a lot of fun, and adventurous which is why Nadine was so interested in trying out Adam & Eve's Wicked Ponytail anal plug and flogger. 

Yup, that's right, not only does this 3.5" black plastic toy go in the backdoor, it also has dozens of red & black rubber cords that can be used as a flogger to punish those bad submissives out there.  My own reservations aside, I told her that it was fine by me and set forth to look into the toy made in China, noting the packaging said nothing about it being phathalate free for those cancer conscious fans out there.  First off, the device is cheap (under $20), uses no batteries, and had a lovely picture of former contract hotty Ava Rose before she gained those marvelous few pounds that filled her ass out so very nicely.

For the intentions of actually flogging someone with the desire to leave welts (like nobody else), the toy kind of failed since I had to really muscle it to get her to feel much of anything.  This is because the shortness of the cords more than the material they were made of.  But even if that portion of the device did not work out, what about the anal plug part?  Well, it received mixed ratings from Nadine there too because it just wouldn't stay inside of her no matter how hard she tried.  The gradual tapering in the middle was just that, too gradual, and the softness of the material was too soft, the waterproof toy unwilling to stay in unless held there by a strap or hand.

I wish there was more to tell about the toy too since there really aren't a lot of standardized tests for such toys and the uses are few in number.  There was a slight smell to the thing but it was just your basic, garden variety anal plug with the flogger added on as eye candy.  If you've had better luck with it though, by all means send me an email so I can possibly modify this review, keeping in mind that Adam & Eve make some very decent toys to share in the bedroom but this wasn't one of them so our collective rating was Skip It.
