In many ways, Vanna Bardot is a throwback star who is simultaneously still imbued with a thoroughly modern sensibility. Her name salutes classic star Brigitte Bardot, one of the greatest sex symbols of the past century. In a 2024 AVN interview, Vanna mentioned her strong affinity for the glam stylings of Penthouse Magazine in the 1980s and 1990s. She's brought that timeless feel to a string of popular, influential porn bestsellers in recent years, including the aptly named Influence. Born in Denver, Colorado, in the late 1990s, Bardot had a rebellious streak growing up. "I was always breaking the rules especially regarding dress code by wearing little shorts and tight leggings," she told Fleshbot. This helped conjure a quick interest in the adult industry, which Bardot followed by watching annual airings of the AVN Awards on Showtime. She worked as a hair salon assistant until, at age 18, she decided to assert her independence by experimenting with webcam shows. After becoming restless with camming, she pursued studio work, although not before getting a thorough idea of what she was in for. "I did a LOT of research about porn for a while beforehand," she said. Thought she shot with Girlfriends Films, Evil Angel, Jules Jordan, and more in those early days, it was when she collaborated with Vixen Media that she fully hit her stride. It's all part of her plan to go above and beyond in all she does, as she related to Fleshbot: "When I decided to enter the industry, I didn't want to just do it half ass; it is either go all the way as far as I can or nothing at all. I don't want to be mediocre." In 2024, Bardot added to her list of accomplishments when she was named a Fleshlight Girl. Bardot's boyfriend is fellow pornstar Codey Steele. "That's how I'm most known," Steele joked in a 2024 interview with Holly Randall. Bardot is also a big-time foodie, often checking out new restaurants in Los Angeles.
