What grants a film the honor of being deemed “award worthy?” There are more than a few things that help put a production into this rare classification, especially in the world of adult entertainment. Contrary to what you might believe, it has nothing to do with money, star power or ego. Award worthy films, scenes and eventually winners, have all been creations from the soul over the past five years in our little corner of the entertainment world. This is what I hope you take into consideration when you watch Toxic from the pen of Jacky St. James. This production is getting a hard push from parent company Mile High Media, and that is due to the depth that has gone into making a film about the modern day relationship. All you need to know going into this series is that Jacky has cast Aila Donovan in the lead, a woman who will rank right up there as a Best New Starlet nominee in 2021. She has also booked Victoria Voxxx as her opening sex act. A move that I believe will not only propel Victoria to even greater levels of the game, but Jacky St. James as well. This DVD has yet to be released to the masses, so this is our first look into the beginning of awards season 2021, and those films looking to take home a trophy and a hell of a lot more.

Aila Donovan is the battered beauty who ventures off to her loving friend's arms, played by Ryan McClane and Victoria Voxxx. The acting is wonderful. Aila and Quinton steal the show. All while Ryan McClane looks and acts with a chiseled strength. The intro is short and sweet. Jacky St. James tells such a brilliant tale within the first seven minutes of this scene and film. As Aila agrees to walk away from her toxic partner for a few weeks, things quickly lead to Victoria and Ryan showing off the fruits of having a loving, open relationship with one another. The romance and seduction is equally wonderful. Flawless opening to what looks to be another Jacky St. James classic, and perhaps more? The lighting of this set simply glows. You will not forget for a month the way that Toxic opens up.

The Encounter:

When can you say that you were taken out of your seat by a touch, kiss, and glance within porn? I honestly can't tell you the last time I saw this, either in an adult film. It is intense from the start with these two sexual dynamos.

What you are seeing is just so damn provocative. Victoria Voxxx and Ryan McClane do with their clothes on, what most Boy/Girl combinations can not do with their clothes off. The characters become that much more real and rich with all that they are on-screen in this presentation. It leads to some powerful romance between the stars of this opening chapter. The camera usage is simple. You are not given five-hundred views of two sexy bodies to try to follow. Instead, you are taken to this voyeuristic place in porn that is not visited as often as it should be in the digital age. Simple is always better. This scene is so well put together, lit and acted. Fans will be sent to wondrous places, all under a half hour, with this production. 

Don Juan’s Bottom Line:

The only miss in this opening chapter is a small, and I mean microscopic portion of Aila Donovan’s acting abilities. It is not one-hundred percent pure and powerful during that intense opening exchange with Quinton James. That makes this scene a 99.99 out of one hundred. That is what I want to convey within this first review. Aila is able to ease into this role after and become a character, voyeur, girlfriend and so much more by scenes end. The wow factor? It is Victoria Voxxx. This starlet is deserving of a Female Performer of the Year nomination, and this film is proof. She makes this scene what it is, with who she is. Few performers can do what she did here. She makes this performance something powerful. If you ever wanted a display of what it takes to make a scene fly sexually, this is the scene that shows the might of a female performer. Her moans of passion, the dirty talk, it is oh, so scrumptious. Her look and powerful motion is enough to bring any type of fan to their knees. This is the reason you cast a performer like Victoria Voxxx. She takes this scene's rating up one notch with her acting and performance abilities alone. Victoria Voxxx is an actor who knows how to create fantasy, and damn it, that is what is at the heart of this industry. It is what deserves to be talked about and rewarded. It is when you see this scene “cum” to a close. that you see Victoria’s true power. The perspiration is building up across her brow, and her leg shakes become more stiff and less sudden.
