Primary from Lust Cinema, has been nothing short of game changing up until this point. Kira Noir took home a best supporting actress award. Small Hands, AKA Empty Streets, spoke about a short year during his acceptance speech for being the best of the best in this industry yet again. There is no doubt in my mind that it was this role that helped to secure his status as Male Performer of the Year in many of the voters eyes. I know it sure swayed my vote. I implore you, go back and visit the four previous episodes. That is all I can say. This series is something bold and new in porn. It is the type of cinema that causes marketing agents to start making terms more PC, like adult films instead of porn, or erotic art opposed XXX. These are not all bad things, contrary to what some believe. It may look like something simple on the surface, but this series is anything but. It is why you must look at the substance beneath this series. This is adult television for grown-ups. This is drama, relationships, fun and quirkiness that is never seen in this business. What Erika Lust and Casey Calvert are doing is something that has never been done before. This is where we begin chapter five of this monumental series. My advice, catch up if you have not already.

Spoiler alert, wow, when the fuck have I ever gotten to say that within the context of an adult film? Pretty fucking cool. Yes, spoiler alert, Kira is now facing the wrath of a jealous boyfriend, who we are now finding out may be the true “rookie” of the bunch. Aaron is powerful, cruel, in your face. How Kira Noir took that abuse, my God it is what makes these people the great performers and actors they are. The tension is powerful. Casey Calvert’s brilliant score keeps you on this heartbreaking magic carpet ride. Seeing Penny Pax shedding some tears as Derrick Pierce’s character finally decides to be honest with her is just powerful. When I began watching this episode, it was 2AM, my girl had just gone to bed, so she could head to LA to start shooting some of these great movies, and I thought, “hey, let me get a jump start on this chapter of the series.” I pressed play and could not stop watching till it was over and neither will you be able to. This is where Kira took home her award, enjoy what you see, not an easy scene to shoot, but that is what is making this series the game changer that it has become, and will continue to be. This may be the best acting of 2020.

The Encounter: 

If you have never had your heart dragged through the mud, kudos to you. If you want to feel the slightest similar emotion, take note of how you feel after you see such a dramatic story become something passionate and erotic right before your eyes. Is this lust? Or is it love? Who the fuck knows, but what is evident, Casey Calvert knows how to send you on one hell of a ride. This is the kind of magic you only see in movie theaters. Derrick Pierce and Ana Foxxx settle down after a whirlwind of loss, for some much anticipated intimacy and it is tantalizing to watch. If you have been keeping up with the entire series, this is a sexual encounter that you have been looking forward to from the start. Things begin with so much heat, and it just keeps getting steamier. How clever is it that Casey Calvert makes us drool over such acting, then doubles up on our brains with the most highly anticipated sex of the series. This encounter is once again as real as can be, just like the previous chapters. It is as one of a kind as it gets when it comes to two screen legends like Derrick and Ana. The emphasis is on touching, kissing and getting your partner revved up and feeling good. These two porn superstars do a great job creating so much lust within a type of sexual encounter that fans do not see a heck of a whole lot in this industry. It’s nice to see a performer stroking her partner's cock as she kisses him with passion. It is as lust filled as can be when you see a male performer commenting about panties, kisses and gropes. Derrick really shines in this scene in so many ways. What I take away from this scene sexually is something done the right way in so many ways. Anal does not have to be this vulgar practice that does not look sexy in adult films. The action, the motion and the true to life moans, they are made by two of the best in the business and I think only two stars of this caliber could have sold such a sex scene. Especially one that includes a prelude of acting that is so powerful and so dramatic. 

Sight and Sound:

This series gets better every time a person presses play. I honestly can not say that for many other series created in 2020. The art direction in this scene, from camera angles to clothing, it is artsy, and it is beautiful. Casey sharpens her skills with every chapter of the film and this particular one delivers powerfully with story, acting and the way your emotions are again sent on this tumultuous journey. My God Casey Calvert, what are you trying to do to us. I will not give away the end of this episode, but it is something that again sends the viewer on this hurricane ride that is up and down in a sea of fantasy. This is one of the most underrated scripts that has ever seen written in this business. I am left as a critic wondering, what it is that I saw with this episode? That is what gives it a Top Rated ranking. That and that embrace with Kira Noir and Small Hands. The editing is brilliant and it shows that Casey Calvert is quickly becoming a master story teller.

Don Juan’s Bottom Line: 

There are so many occassions where I tried to stop myself watching this series and say, “come on, there has to be a flaw to what I am seeing and what is presented.” So, I watched again. What I discovered each time, was that sixty minutes went by and I enjoyed every single second. This is one of the most powerful and well put together combinations of sex and story that I have ever seen. We see Kira Noir solidify that spot that earned her a gold trophy this past January. We see that every single nomination was well-earned with this series by how it becomes branded into your memory. Perhaps forever! I know it sure as hell is in mine. I would look for the sex to drop off, then Casey slaps us in the face with this artistic shot that shows Ana’s perfectly chiseled booty as she gives oral that is more than award worthy, it is XXX at it’s finest. Small Hands, the man showed us what a true actor is. He will make many soft hearts tear up with what it is he becomes due to love and acted out relationships in this picture. Powerful, powerful work. I am guessing that we end the series with him and rightfully so, he has made has us like we are a Pike at the end of a twenty pound test line. He is reeling us in for something delicious, dark and down to earth. I can just sense it. You can not stop watching this episode once you begin, and every moment keeps your ass on the edge of your seat. Make sure to stretch your legs beforehand people. Seeing the actors and performers out of breath in two such ways that also make you breathless, it is something I do not think can be duplicated, nor has it been done in many years. This is some of the best acting EVER captured in an adult film. Then, to have a sexual situation deliver just as much depth and passion. I truly see why this film got the nominations it did and there is still one chapter to go. Top Rated from top to bottom.
