Primary, Episode Two. Lovers of porn, cinema, adult entertainment, and erotica will only need to hear those three words in order to watch and follow this series created by Casey Calvert. In what is in this writer’s opinion, one of the most powerful cinematic openings in adult film history, pressing play on the second chapter was an automatic response that you just do not receive every day in the digital age of porn. Yes, we have big-budget movies. There are magnificent actors who can put on a Halloween costume and bring us down to our knees begging for more. What is showcased within the heart and soul of Primary, is reality. We are not talking about something as simple as the craze of reality TV, oh no. This is old-fashioned storytelling, told by an erotic poet who loves everything this industry and sexuality stands for. Casey Calvert aims to convey that to the world with her magnificent creation from the heart. AVN Awards host Kira Noir and a man simply known as “Pig Daddy” on social media. These two acting virtuosos both get the spotlight in chapter two of the award-nominated six-part series. I honestly have not been this excited since the day I watched the film Tully in terms of expectations for something real, dramatic, and the best way that life imitates art written by a woman who is anything but ordinary.

Casey Calvert is able to create this amazing set that gives you vibes that the people at Cheers would never fucking understand. Kira Noir as the woman going out into uncharted waters for the first time. Small Hands lurking in the shadows. This chapter of the mini-series grabs you with curiosity and intrigue, not leaving you hanging for one second after the grand opening this series produced. Calvert has an interesting take on how she sees the intimacy and complex nature of meeting someone at the places we choose to meet people with love in our hearts, lust in our eyes, and a hidden longing for just friendship and connection. There are some wonderful looks at people. Their idea of what makes them stand out and how they want to be seen by others. This dialogue of the best real conversation converted into a script I have ever seen from Casey Calvert. Michael Vegas is a silk fucking sheet. The man is smooth, and he manages to enchant the newbie Kira who is getting her feet wet for the first time with the open relationship. Aaron shines without speaking and Vegas, what can I say, the man was born to be an actor. Kira's quirky ways stumble you into a real-life sexual encounter and you will not be bored for one fucking second of this great introduction.

The Encounter:

Once again, the sex is real. If you are a porn fan, you already know the might of Kira Noir and if you are finding this film by way of hearsay, you get to see one of the most stunning ladies on the planet, and we see her not in any modeling pose or porn angle. but rather a woman making love to the stranger she just met in a bar. It is so simple of a concept that it just might work. Now, the following statement is not an insult by any means but it is something most male performers are used to hearing as slander against their performance. We see Mr. Vegas with his mighty warrior not at full attention yet and that is cooler than cool to see in this scenario. We are seeing two people make love and that is obvious when he goes down on this stunning creature that his character just picked up at a bar. These two show real lovemaking and it contains so much reality and silliness. Seeing Kira Noir in this type of production is just awe-inspiring. The sex appeal in this scene is the lovely kissing that comes with play of the most intimate kind. Michael Vegas, the man knows how to please a woman and this is a very fun scene to watch in between the sheets. Then, we see this amazing beauty give him a rise that I have NEVER seen in porn and it is so fucking cool to see a man get aroused by his lady fair. That is the best part of foreplay no matter what type of sex you are having and these two bring it forward with kissing that just touches each other's soul. When do you ever get to watch an adult film and you are smiling? This is one long, lengthy take and that is what new age porn should be. I love how they used condoms. I just love it. It fits the scene, the story, the performance. The action is very passionate just like in episode one. Both of these two superstars go back and forth with powerful thrust and intimate gyrations. The oral is spectacular and you don’t see sex positions like this every day. Because once again, This is real sex and it is real sex that I think some porn fans will need to adjust to in order to indulge in but not many. This is true intimacy and you see that when then the camera is fixed on Michael rubbing Kira's kitty as his epic thrust moves with a passionate motion, nothing that is nasty or vulgar. It is just simply beautiful. Real sex positions, missionary, true, raw moans of lust and adventure. I mean my God, they even show the lube applied without any camera tricks. That is real, that is one of a kind, and this what you are getting with chapter two of Primary. Don't for one second think you are getting something less because of the powerful acting that does creep into the sexual encounter. Casey Calvert is setting the bar high with two of the realist sex scenes filmed in 2020 and they are game-changing.

Sight and Sound:

Casey Calvert again takes us to a place in LA that comes to life like never before seen in adult entertainment. Like the food truck before, we are taken to another modern-day locale of love, or should I say, the places we think it exists in. That Bar, that lighting, and those characters give off that intense vibe that comes with intimacy, interaction, and people. This script once again takes consenting adults of all ages to a place they have never been in porn. Casey has written something that so many people will be able to relate with at the heart of their being. The only miss again is in camera focus but what I will say in Casey’s defense, the blurry camera gives this scene a feeling of true reality and that is why I am keeping this chapter of the series at Highly Recommended. She also scores major points with that epic melody from Marni at the end of the scene. Haunting in the most beautiful way is all I can say. 

Don Juan’s Bottom Line: 

The fact that Casey puts real sex in this film, is what gives the scene the high marks it receives. It would not be fitting to have Kira Noir become that agent of lust in the porn industry that she is known for being in her films. This is a tale of two strangers “fumbling at the teet.” Looking to cure the night's loneliness or the void we all have when looking for connection, intimacy, and compassion. Those are all very sexy things. Dare I say, they are things forgotten in today’s porn world. This type of film is every bit as sexy and a must-see as the gonzo orgy that has Kira Noir making our minds go sideways while having sex with seven people. This has sex you will love just as much. Casey Calvert is telling is a modern tale of sexuality and this is no cliché, bullshit catchphrase I am trying to feed you. This is a cast of adult actors who come together to show you the emotion of sex and sexuality is mind-alteringly good and then some. The first chapter showed a completely different view of sex created with powerful acting and that lust that only occurs with genuine sex and it’s an intoxicating feeling that makes us act our silliest and most vulnerable. You can not call this a “chick flick” or women’s porn. This is something that everyone should see and everyone will love. As fucking cheesy as this will sound to naysayers, it is about educating people, showing many that there is a clunkiness to sex and sexuality. Then, as the story leaves you hanging, you see that there is more than one way to tell a modern love story. I was mesmerized by a scene that shows one person’s feet intimately on top of the others and you will be too when you give this Highly Recommended chapter of the series a chance. There is no doubt in my mind things are going to keep getting better. You never get to see a film that has acting that is as revolutionary as the sex is. All while still being faithful to those fans who are only just looking for thrills. It is an amazing concept to think that the story and the sex can be strong enough to keep you watching for one sitting and maybe even more if you are a cinema buff like me. This is once again what XXX has always been capable of.
