This is one of Dana’s greatest interviews and this says so much with a director who spends so much time with her cast over the years as Dana Vespoli has. The editing in the scene is just beyond belief. We are able to follow the director’s story, her vision and see exactly what this type of sexual pleasure has at its core.

To not see the woman who is submitting to her lover as weak, being taken advantage of, or is the damsel in distress is something far too many of us see when it comes to sexuality, womanhood and the female presence on this earth period. I myself will honestly tell you, I was one of these people once upon a time. Being a romantic, or “vanilla” as they say in some circles can sometimes close you off from seeing things that are on the surface and as plain as day. Dana Vespoli talks about a woman who wants to submit and a woman who wants to dominate. We far too often never take the time to learn both sides and that is what this film is, and it does it well. This scene is long and lengthy, but it is a piece of footage very valuable to the adult world in so many ways. I think too many of us never knew how much work went into being a “top” or person dominating. Perhaps this is why there is so much misunderstood because we are living in an age were putting in a lot of effort is not as common as it once was?
