The big awards shows are upon us, and what better film to continue to put under the microscope than the featured spectacle at X3 2022. I have been saving these final chapters for the holiday season. For if there is one thing I know about Ricky Greenwood. When he gets a nomination, it is usually something that goes above and beyond, and I am not just talking about the man’s work ethic on set. Blue Moon Rising, it is a film that I believe will have spawned more than anyone could have ever dreamed of in the world of XXX cinema. If you paid attention, Mr. Greenwood began poking hints at what he was looking to create during his massive introduction onto the awards' scene with A Killer on the Loose last year. This man is always fast at work. I think that is why we see him and Aiden Ashley together so often. They are two of the most dedicated artists in the world, and it seems like they may finally be getting their due. Something I think that the industry owes both of them. Yes, I said it, OWED. It is his filmography that has brought back curiosity, and emotion to the world of porn. It has sparked so many to think outside the box, and look to producers for exposure. All so they can create films that people want to see. Even the people who were not porn fans before watching. Chapter one of this series contained award worthy sex, acting and cinematography. The dirty talk that comes out of Brooklyn’s mouth, you almost forget how powerful, and different her acting performance was to end chapter one. Brooklyn Gray shows why she is one of the best lust filled performers in this industry. This damn well may be the best blow-job recorded in 2021. Brooklyn leaves you wanting to know more about her character at the end of chapter one of this three part film. Here, in the bridge between opening and climax, Ricky Greenwood gives the fans a show, and takes us to mountain tops that few directors ever have within one hour. Every part of this sex scene is five-star. The thrust will leave you beat to a pulp. So make sure you got some ice in the freezer, especially if you partake in a cold winter's morning.

Sight, Sound, and Specs:

This is the chapter of the film where we truly see where that Best Cinematography nomination derived from. OK, chapter one is amazing, but this scene is flawless, and it goes to so many places story-wise. Kudos to Ricky Greenwood. In the end, we start to see the plot thicken, then we are left on hold. Pure, fucking genius! This is one incredible script written by Shawn Alff. Who has a cameo in the bridge between sex scenes? The look of each performer is so natural. It makes the sweaty sex that much more memorable. I am telling you, every audience member will feel as if they have spent some time in a hot shower after watching this incredible second chapter to Blue Moon Rising. The lake of make-up is astounding, at least in terms of glamour. This is how you do a natural look. I hope other directors take notice. Every set on this film is one of a kind, and it helps to tell this story in ways that make it award-worthy. 

Don Juan’s Bottom Line: 

I do not think we give Ricky Greenwood enough credit for the sex scenes he puts together. This is the best combination of sex in 2021. Yes, this scene/chapter is Top Rated, and most of that goes towards the sex, but it is more. It is Tommy Pistol making a cranky, veteran detective come to life with his acting brilliance. This is a Top Rated scene, made with the sweat of two of the most powerful performers the modern industry has seen. Brooklyn Gray and Aiden Ashley are Female Performer of the Year powerhouses. Worthy of awards, awards, and awards. To be able to tell a story with their skin, voice, and emotions. There are few performers in the world who can pull off such feats. This is a chapter of a film that can knock out complete films with one swipe of the hand. Literally! Now, another thing I will state for the record. I am a critic who bashes men far too often. I will admit that, but this is a woman’s industry. Codey Steele, and Brad Newman, they are a new breed of talent. Big dicks, they are a thing of the past. Now, we need more than that, and these men have the goods. The hair, the skin, the abs, and the chemistry. Codey goes above and beyond. You have never seen a performance like this before. This is what makes a film something worthy of being screened at an adult expo like X3. It is worth all it’s hype in bitcoin.This film should take home some trophies, as should the performers. This is such an original concept. One that does not overwhelm. I could not believe how well-balanced this chapter is with two sex scenes. It is not too much. As a matter of fact, this second part is a true homage to what porn used to be. When you would spend money on a film that you could enjoy over, and over again.
