Extra's: More me, the best extra was the 19.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Don Fischer (credited under his former name of Mickey Ray). The gals all got a chance to introduce themselves and give some background on themselves. Don is talented in terms of getting some great footage but also balancing it with some material fans of the performers will like too. Many of you will prefer to spend your 19.5 minutes watching the scene from Dripping Wet Sex 9 between Naudia Nyce, Lee Ann and Joey Ray instead. The trio got busy on a bed and had all kinds of variations on a theme with anal taking place too. There was also a photogallery, position menu, and some trailers.

Audio/Video Quality: Young Pink 8 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot. The colors were rich and accurate with the lighting fairly well done so there was minimal grain to contend with. The flesh tones seemed accurate and I didn't notice any compression artifacts or video noise as I watched the movie. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English with the standard moaning and groaning heard throughout the production. I heard what they said and the overall effect wasn't bad but the dynamic range and separation were about average in most ways for vignette-styled porn.

Body of Review: As time marches on, people in the porn industry seem to want to grow and develop like people in other professions. One of the natural consequences of this desire is to own your own studio or at least have more control over what you do. With this in mind, director Robert Herrera seems to be making a break from Simon Wolf Productions to focus more on his own line, Illicit Pictures, as released by Pure Play Media. The latest DVD of his I had the opportunity to review was Young Pink 8, a continuation of his series. Like Volume 7, this one focused on younger gals that hadn't been in porn much (well, except for Lanny Barby) and fans of series like this will be happy to note that while it wasn't the best work I've seen of late, it was certainly well worth your time and money. Here's a quick look at the scenes from the movie, noting that condoms weren't used with any of the gals:

Scene One: Gianna, a cute brunette with a few extra pounds in need of toning up, and studly Randy Spears, were up first on a bed as the two made out and warmed up. She was wearing blue jean shorts over a pink slip and Randy appeared to love her large breasts and curvy ass as much as I did. She did some taste testing but it was her energetic performance that set her apart from most of the others this time. I also liked the way she begged him to fuck her as that elevated the heat a bit. She was far less energetic when he was tapping her ass but it was still a well done scene in most respects, ending when he jerked off onto her face.

Scene Three: Ann-Marie Michelle, a very lean brunette with a nice body and pretty face, was up next with Tyler Durden on a black leather couch. They kissed, he played with her crotch a bit and then she gave him some oral after he did so for her. She also managed to ride him like she enjoyed it; displaying an energy few could argue with. She did some PTM and went back to riding him, swapping positions and cleaning him off a few more times before he rubbed out a load onto her lovely face. The energy varied more than I like but there seemed to be some minor chemistry between the two.

Scene Four: Jasmin, an exotic looking honey with darker skin and nice curves was up next with studly Andrea Moranti on a couch. I liked her sheer purple outfit as it enhanced her look and her performance, though it seemed a bit over the top at times, was fun to watch. The oral was good even if I winced when she grabbed his balls tightly to suck on. The two managed to have a decent session of screwing too with the reverse cowgirl and doggy being the best to view her lovely body with. It ended with a facial and was also nicely done.

Scene Five: Dillain, the hotty on the front DVD cover with the all natural body and very attractive face, was up next in a scene on a couch with Talon. I thought they hit it off well and the standard sex acts ensued before he dropped a load onto her face. This scene was exceptional as much for her energy as well as the fact that I got the impression she got off at least once while they filmed the scene; showing good chemistry to go with the energy. I wonder what her boyfriend would've said if he saw her in this scene (she mentioned what he didn't know wouldn't kill him in the BTS feature).

Summary: Young Pink 8was another well received released from director Robert Herrera and his company, Illicit Pictures. While I'd be curious to know exactly where he's going with the company (especially since news about the Simon Wolf Organization is sparse these days) , the end result is that his vignette series like this one are almost always at least worth a rating of Recommended or better. Some of the gals here were in their first few weeks in porn, and I'd be willing to guess their first scenes were nothing as interesting as they were here but the overall impression I got was that the gals enjoyed their new profession and their partners here. In short, Young Pink 8 proved that the series is like a fine wine, getting better all the time.
