Audio/Video Quality: Angelic Black Asses was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by Devil’s Film. The lighting was too low to properly light the contrast between the white males and black females, the shaky camera and jumpy editing not helping much either, a company watermark seen on the lower right corner of the picture throughout the movie. Unlike the recent volume of Angelic Asses using white women, this one definitely looked worse by a substantial amount, surprising me given the other upgrades the company has been making of late. The aural components were similar in terms of being hollow on vocals, repetitive on the music, and few ambient sounds applied to blend them together for a mediocre experience.

Body of Review: Devil’s Film has become a company trying to upgrade since it was bought out awhile back, the website and DVDs it releases often filling marketing niches other companies have either written off as unprofitable or simply don’t care to expend resources on, giving it a golden opportunity to become a big fish in a small pond rather than chase every angle or niche around. Their latest release for review is called Angelic Black Asses, a collection of four new scenes and a bonus scene starring a suitably attractive group of black ladies being paired up with the usual mopes, the guys not credited in any way (luckily I happen to know all of them). There was no build up, limited tease, and most of the scenes amounted to pairing up random people as far as I could tell, the mope factor truncated by use of meat puppets of higher caliber such as John Strong, Marcus London, and Anthony Rosano. The ladies included beautiful Skylar Nicole, the hotty featured on the front cover with the superior ass, all natural Yasmine De Leon, light skinned Serena Ali, and enthusiastic Sadie Santana so I had hopes the show would transcend the mediocre technical values, tease provided instead of a true BTS look at how the scenes were made. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Serena Ali, an attractive black gal newcomer with a few dozen credits to her name on the IAFD at this writing, was up first in the living room with muscular John Strong, her curvy body adorned with blue bikini underwear and a pink mesh top as she knelt down to greet him. Summary: Angelic Black Asses by Devil’s Film likely did not credit the director since this was not one of its best looking sets of scenes, neither Jim Powers nor Barrett Blade likely to want their name associated with the resulting hodge podge of technical mess. Still, most of the guys were decent and the ladies all had juicy asses worth showing the world, particularly Skylar Nicole and Yasmine De Leon so I split the difference and upgraded the rating to a respectable Rent It. With some tweaks and polishing up, the series could easily surpass much of the competition if given the chance, the selection of ladies also including Sadie Santana and Serena Ali sure to impress so give Angelic Black Asses a look and see why I am hopeful that future releases will continue in the spirit of the company’s upgrade since Pipedreams picked them up.
