The Movie:

Women Seeking Women Volume 86 is the latest in the insanely long running line from Girlfriends Films that follows the x-rated exploits of ‘restless hearts searching for that one perfect woman.’ While there is some set up here involving a group of women hanging out in a house and these scenes do bookend the actual girl on girl sex that takes up the bulk of the running time, it’s not particularly interesting or well acted. The sex though? Yeah, there’s that. Here’s a look at how it all goes down…

Scene One: Lily Labeau & Angela Summers - Two young, pretty blondes start off with some chit chat in the kitchen but once the mood hits the pair moves to the bedroom and hits the sheets. The scene starts off with some light petting that gets increasingly heavier as the mood intensifies between these two. They climb on top of one another and start kissing each other on the lips, and then tongue kissing. Clothes start to come off slowly and sensually and Lily gets topless as Angela goes down on her – before you know it, they’re both completely nude. From there they grind into on another for a few minutes and then basically just trade places so that the oral favors can be returned. They scissor a bit and finger play for a while and then end their opening scene the same way it began, with some nice, slow kissing.

Women Seeking Women Volume 86 is a shot on digital video production which looks pretty clean presented here in a very strong and stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes (though plenty during the foreplay and opening scenes) comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

Extras include an Our Girlfriends segment that is really little more than a minute long slideshow containing some quick clips of the starlets in action with their names underneath. There are also some trailers and promos here as well as a spot advertising the website. Animated menus and scene selection are also included.

Final Thoughts:

Women Seeking Women Volume 86 won’t likely win Girlsfriends Films any new fans as it follows the tried and true formula that’s kept the series going as long as it has been without any real deviation at all. With that said, if you appreciate realistic and languidly paced girl on girl action, nobody does it better. Shot with a top notch cast and a great eye for composition and complimented by some very nice production values, the four scenes that make up these release are pretty steamy stuff and the disc comes recommended.
