James Avalon directs this very stylish first feature in the company's new Noir production line. It's well scripted, has pretty art direction (done by legendary porn star Kylie Ireland), and it has an overall good noir feel to it with an obvious love for the style and its origins, even if the ending is not the most solid one.

Prostitute Freya Parker finds herself dumped by lover Charles Dera in favor of his fiancee/her best friend Evelyn Claire. After a moment of dealing with that heartbreak, she sees older, definitely cranky john Steve Holmes who wants her out of her fancy clothes right away because they remind him of clothing his uptight wife and her friends would wear. It's not the greatest ending to this, but the journey there is a hot and engaging one.
