Audio/Video Quality: Restraint 2 was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of Paul Woodcrest and Eddie Powell on cameras, editor Gabrielle Anex, and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of most camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a female director at New Sensations, the young lady garnering attention for her vignettes. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Edge” series in for review is called Restraint 2, a set of four scenes showing couples coming to grips with their fantasies of sexual fulfillment that include physical restraint as a means of heightening sexual pleasure. The biggest name for me here was Valentina Nappi though newcomer Aria Alexander from Houston was here, Poland’s Natalia Starr, and Seattle’s Lucy Tyler will certainly appeal to fans as well. The back cover said this about the feature: “After placing an ad in search of a dominant man, Valentina finds herself blindfolded and restrained in the home of a mysterious stranger. Although Aria's career demands that she be the one calling the shots, at home she willingly submits to the desires of her husband. Unable to find a man who understands the psychological power of BDSM sex, Natalia continually returns to her ex-boyfriend for a fix. Lucy embarks on an adventurous sexual encounter with a man she barely knows.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Valentina Nappi, the curvy Italian brunette bombshell from the front cover, was up first with Ryan Driller, the short vignette establishing that she enjoyed the thrill of being bound as she looked online for partners. The tease montage was too light for my tastes but Valentina has such a naturally sexy (even sensual) presence that even blindfolded, she came across as having a degree of power when bound by the guy. Her white dress gave way to sating red bikini undies and implements, the descriptive verbal narrative interrupting the flow of the part where he tied her (as on the front cover) and caressed her body. As he peeled down her panties, her considerably hair pubic bush was revealed, the length of the vignette barely allowing for him to refrain from playing as she begged him to come to her, Ryan fingering her and gobbling her gash before freeing her to slob his knob and nuzzle his nuts. He sucked her foot while fingering her and soon bound her to the bed (via wrist and ankle restraints) where the theme played out better, his hand working her crotch and allowing her to blow him before a few mostly passive vaginal penetration positions took place, the spooning showing her to push back a bit (that is rarely the position a gal becomes active by the way). All four ladies were appealing, my favorite being Valentina Nappi here, the best audience for the title being couples just starting to experiment with light bondage. In short, Restraint 2 was the latest in the “Tales From The Edge” line that some people enjoy as light adult entertainment, the director offering some taboo encounters without the step relation angle, so check it out.
