Extras: The best extra was the 9:48 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that showed a lot of enthusiasm and energy on the sets of the movie. Mason was clearly in charge and the cast was having a lot of fun as usual with Mason interjecting comments but Tori making it clear she wanted to be there working for the director in this spotlight hit. There were also a trailer for the show, a photogallery, a pop shot recap, and some spam for those that care.

Audio/Video Quality: Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio  widescreen color as released by director Mason for Elegant Angel using the high definition AVC codec with 1080 resolution. The camera work was generally solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows so the picture appeared to be in line with her other work to date. Mason has made or assisted on a number of titles over the years, the technical matters taking back seat (pun intended) to the raw energy of the sex, but her skill levels have definitely been improving with the camera too, showing she pays attention for those that care. I saw no compression artifacts thanks in part to the 13.6 Mbps video bitrate and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of her work these days tends to do. The fluid nature of the compositional work aside though, the editing by Bossman Hall helping to enhance this one in large part too, a couple of abrupt changes not indicative of the larger amount of transitions handled just right. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 256 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too. The music came from My Beat Shop & Stock Music Site (HundredKarat Producers, Capncrunk, 7Dollabeats, MX47, and Team Green) and was appreciated in each case, the edits helping make the blending of sight and sound especially heated during the montage openings.

Body of Review: Mason is one of the most creative directors at Elegant Angel these days, her hardcore smut making people stand up to take notice. Of particular interest to me is when she spotlights an individual performer and allows the gal free reign on doing some of the hardest sex of her life, such was the case with recently released Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy Blu-ray. As a general rule of thumb, I find Tori Black to be one of the most physically attractive young ladies in porn and have sung her praises as such for a long time now but the flip side of that coin is that many of her performances simply lacked true heat, passion, and energy as well as chemistry. Over the last year though, she has truly started to come into her own with various performances in sitcum parodies, other gonzo work, and even her own virtual sex release where she upped the ante with her fanny (in Interactive Sex with Tori Black), elevating her status for me in a big way. So Mason's touch is almost designed to become the icing on the proverbial cake if her past titles in this vein are any indicators of how heated this one will be. One point it advertises is the movie containing Tori's first non-POV anal scene (and with Manuel Ferrara!) but she also does interracial and threesomes too, all that was missing was a blowbang or gangbang to convert her into a raincoater's dream girl. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Tori Black, the sexy little strumpet featured on the front cover (and in every scene of the movie), was up first along with award winning hotty Rebeca Linares, the two gals teasing in skimpy bikinis on a public beach. The slow paced tease was okay but they then ended up bathing together, using the handheld nozzle to clean off every square inch of each other before they started putting their moves in. They caressed and ate each other outside with a transition to a couch where the gals began sucking off muscular Mark Ashley, showing him that sharing is caring with their lollipop antics. Scene Four: Kristina Rose, a hotty Latina with a great ass, and bikini clad Tori Black, were up next as they teased outside by the pool, the music a bit too heavy but working within the confines of the action. The sunlight made this portion look really hot but they seemed to adore one another too, the quick paced edit to the ladies on the couch inside with Manuel Ferrara jarring but understandable as the scene went to the next level. Summary: Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy Blu-ray by director Mason for Elegant Angel was definitely a walk on the wild side for Tori Black and perhaps her strongest release this side of Interactive Sex with Tori Black, the two amounting to her best companion piece movies fans simply have to have in order to consider themselves fans. Tori showed the expansion of her personal limits in this one better though so while she still has some rough edges to work out, Mason should be praised for eliciting this empowering session of scenes that worked very well for Tori, my personal rating of Recommended admittedly on the low side compared to the opinion of any of Tori's legion of slavering fanboys (whether reviewers or not). In short then, Tori Black Is Pretty Filthy Blu-ray amounted to a healthy visual upgrade and Mason did manage to bring out some of Tori's best work to date, showing the performer is not just another pretty face when she wants to be filthy.  This is one of those times when I think the Blu-ray upgrade was definitely worth a few bucks more thanks to the enhancement so give this one some consideration for your collection even if you aren't a huge fan of Tori since you could very well become one afterwards.
