Episode one (Brave New World): Lindsey Olson, Luna, Whitney Conroy and Franck Franco

This is the first four episodes of the popular sexart.com series The Writer. It’s an interesting experiment, with a high-quality film told through a series of episodes. It involves Luna, who writes about her sexual fantasies. She imagines being boyfriend/girlfriend with someone she’s known her entire life, plus she has a sexy, blonde neighbor (Whitney Conroy). The first scene is imagining Franck, who is both her boyfriend and subject of her fantasies. He’s paired off with sexy blonde Lindsey Olson. Their scene is almost exclusively missionary, with her on her back and on her side, but it generates plenty of heat. They have sex on a bed that is covered in rose petals.

After talking with Whitney about how she wrote a story about Franck, she transitions into a masturbation scene that is intertwined with more action from Lindsey and Franck, in a different location. Here, Lindsey and Franck never disrobe, and instead do a lot of making out before she crouches down to give him a blowjob.

Next, Luna is in her bathroom masturbating her pussy when Whitney walks in on her to give her some company. Whitney strips down and fingers Luna to a strong orgasm. It’s a brief, but strong scene. And it quickly leads into Luna fantasizing again, at her laptop, about Franck and Lindsey, wishing she was Lindsey while Franck worships her ass and licking her pussy feverishly. Franck is also seen fucking Lindsey doggy-style and reverse cowgirl.

The scene ends with Luna’s narration saying “Right now, I only live through my stories.”

Episode two (Sabor de Amor): Dido Angel, Iwia A., Luna, Whitney Conroy, and Franck Franco

“Sabor de Amor” translates to “Flavor of Love” (or so Google Translate tells me). The second episode concerns Luna turning her relationship with Whitney into another story, told through Iwia and Dido. When Whitney calls Luna, asking why she woke up alone, Luna has an epiphany for her next tale. While Franck is a character in this episode, the focus is on lesbian love.

In her story, Iwia, the brunette, is a student, and Dido, the blonde, is an aspiring ballerina who dances in a strip club to pay her bills. I found myself particularly drawn to Iwia, a Czech beauty.

The sex scenes with Dido and Iwia are complemented by a photo shoot between Luna and Whitney (with Whitney as the photographer). She takes some very sexy photos of the more demure Luna in a black slip (or at least she poses her in some sexy positions). It leads to some more intimacy, and Whitney can’t keep her tongue away from Luna’s inviting pussy. Luna and Whitney also finger each other to strong orgasms.

After Luna and Whitney enjoy each other’s company, the movie returns to Luna’s imagination with Dido and Iwia. In the story, Dido is worrying that her relationship with Iwia is on the rocks and unsalvageable. She rushes home and finds Iwia naked, greeting her. It’s a very, very hot scene between the two, who are quite drawn to one another. There is a lot of hot pussy-licking and fingering, plus a great 69 to close out the scene and episode.

Episode three (Selfie): Luna, Whitney Conroy, and Franck Franco

Episode three focuses on the fantasies Luna has and what she feels she must keep from Franck and Whitney. “This story is born from the desires I can’t share with anyone,” she tells us. Then we see her put on a blindfold and walk through her apartment. She’s greeted by Franck and Whitney, who surprise her with a birthday gathering. It leads to Luna imagining sex with Whitney again. They pleasure each other, in her imagination, and use a dildo. She’s also seen furiously masturbating herself with her fingers.

Luna asks herself how she can tell Whitney she is writing about them, but then imagines more intense lesbian love. Whitney is seen intensely fingering Luna with two fingers as deep as they’ll go, and the luscious brunette moaning in ecstasy. Luna’s pleasure is the focus of this scene, and Whitney does her best to pleasure her as much as she can, resulting in plenty of orgasms. Episode four (Sex Therapy): Alexis Brill, Luna, Whitney Conroy, and Franck Franco

Episode four continues to feature Whitney Conroy and Luna, which is welcome because I can’t get enough of Whitney’s delectable body. It continues to blur the lines between fantasy and reality by not making which is which immediately clear (if at all). The film introduces a new character, Alexis Brill. She’s a gorgeous brunette, who looks very tall. Her character is a nurse that meets Franck and is immediately charmed by him. I like the addition of her. When they get together, Franck gives her a shivering orgasm by eating her out while she’s still standing. She also gets on top of him and bounces on his cock for a great fuck.

The episode moves into more Sapphic love between Luna and Whitney. I loved seeing Whitney licking Luna into a very powerful climax. It’s too brief, but still welcome.

The scene returns to Alexis and Franck, and shows the stunning brunette sucking on her man’s rod. Franck shows he’s not the most virile star of adult cinema ever, because he has some problems maintaining an erection throughout, but it’s overall a worthy scene controlled by just how gorgeous Alexis is. I did enjoy watching him fuck her doggy-style over a kitchen table. I do want to see where the rest of the series is headed.

Final thoughts:

In his excellent review of The Writer 2, my colleague Sean DPS found that volume two picks up in the middle of the story arc. I think that’s likely true because it established the plot, introduced the main characters, and revealed a lot of their personalities. I think it was a mistake to release both discs separately. Usually in porn, one need not begin from the beginning of the series to know what is going on in, for example, Interracial Gloryhole Initiations 15.

I admire the ambition of The Writer series and think director Alis Locanta has done a remarkable job of putting together this web series. With each episode being 35-45 minutes long, I think there was a real challenge in maintaining a balance between the sex scenes and advancing the plot. I found the performers all very attractive and find actors (and would love to watch Whitney Conroy and Iwia in some more scenes).

Most of all, I believe, I enjoyed The Writer because it made me feel like a connoisseur of foreign films and not a masturbating pervert, at least for a moment.
