Comprises the short films "The XXXorcist" (2006, 20 mins.) and "Re-Penetrator" (2004, 7 mins.)

Young Father Merkin is called in to straighten out possessed teen Reagan Macfeel. "I'm going to fuck ... the hell out of you," he tells the green-goo-spewing hottie, before displaying true faith by sticking his priestly prick in her dangerous mouth. Thus the wit in "The XXXorcist," the first of two splatter-porn video shorts on this DVD, both starring Joanna Angel and Tommy Pistol and directed by Doug Sakmann. Products of the new media era, the shorts purportedly gained a following on the BurningAngel Web site, which just proves that there is an audience for anything.

"The XXXorcist," which is 20 minutes long, and "Re-Penetrator," just 7, contain essentially one scene each. Some effort has gone into creating and deploying gallons of vomit, deep-red blood and glowing green serum, as well as emulating "The Exorcist's" spinning head, but since the shorts were shot on harsh, unforgiving video, rather than softer, richer film, their shortcomings are fatally obvious. All those tattoos on Tommy Pistol, who plays Father Merkin, and on Kylee Kross, who plays Reagan's mom, add to the feeling that no one is taking this endeavor too seriously. The more substantial "XXXorcist" has Mom joining her little girl and the priest in a threeway, and if that's not funny enough, there's Pistol's Brooklyn accent: "Strike terrah into this thawny beast," he beseeches God as stands over the writing Reagan. Responds Reagan: "Your mother sucks cocks in hell - but not as good as me!"

"The XXXorcist" comes in three versions -- "Sad Ending," "Happy Ending" and "Fucked Up Ending" - but one would have sufficed. As for the "Re-Animator" spoof, it goes like this: Dr. Hubert Breast injects some serum into the vagina of high-heels-wearing zombie, bringing her to horny life. They suck and fuck (she cums blood), climaxing in her ripping his throat with her teeth and tearing his guts out George Romero style. She then prepares to inject the life serum into him as she winks at us.

This filmic flimsiness would be fine if we at least got some real porn action. The actors seem to be really doing it, but the films have been censored to cable-ready levels: no penetration or oral activity is explicitly shown.

                                                       THE DVD 

Both shorts are presented in 4:3 full-frame format, with stereo sound (no Dolby). The picture is crisp and fresh-looking, with an attempt to create atmosphere with some green lighting in "Re-Penetrator," but the shorts' video provenance give them that cheap "live" look of soap operas.

Each short comes with a behind-the-scenes featurette. The "XXXorcist" one focuses on the makeup effects and the construction of Reagan's bouncing bed, while the "Re-Penetrator" one (which is longer than the film itself) features interviews with stars Joanna Angel and Tommy Pistol and filmmaker Doug Sakmann, who confesses, "I wrote the script in, like, two minutes." Which, like, I totally believe.

There are also three trailers, for Burning Angel's "Evil Head" (a black-and-white spoof of you know what), "Strip for Pain" (a game show of sorts) and "Gray Kangaroo" (not a trailer at all, but an ad for a device that purportedly filters cheap booze into high-quality hooch).

                                                      THE LAST WORD

These two shorts work well enough as something a horror geek might stumble upon while surfing the Net, but they don't add up to much on the more substantial format of DVD. Over-the-top gore mixes with hardcore (but censored) sex and obvious humor, all of it deeply cheesy. Joanna Angel has a nice little natural body and some acting talent, and this disc may lead viewers to seek out her real porn titles. But what's here is worth just one quick look, if that.
