Private puts way more effort into their DVDs than most studios, especially when it comes to the extras. On this disc, you can view this DVD's trailer (letterboxed widescreen), a gallery of photos from the scenes on this DVD, a shoot done for a magazine and an exclusive shoot for this DVD. In addition, there are cast bios, production notes breaking down info for each scene, and five trailers for other titles.

From the main menu, you can check out the About Private section which features three short video clips about Private DVDs, the Private empire and the Private Website. They're informative and well put-together, but I can't say they'd be interesting to most viewers.

Audio/Video:

Private goes above and beyond when it comes to their DVDs. The video is letterboxed widescreen, which makes for some really cinematic porn, while the soundtrack is widely varied. Audio tracks available include English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, while subtitle choices include Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese, Polish and Greek.

The video is soft at times, but clearly reproduced, while the audio is crisp, with just a slight bit of background noise in the scenes.

Body of Review:

Can't say I'm too familiar with Ms. Stone's work, but from looking at her resume, I'm likely to see her again, as she's been very prolific. Hailing from Hungary, Mia's a bonde-haired cutie with a tight bod, and a willingness to do just about anything on-screen. This disc traces her evolution as a starlet, from her start in one of Pierre Woodman's casting calls, to an exclusive scene made for this DVD. So instead of the randomly selected scenes you get in most compilations, this one actually acts as a porn history for the actress, with an extensive interview and behind-the-scenes footage intercut with the sex scenes. Let's go back in time:

Like most casting videos, this one starts off iceberg-slow, as Woodman attempts to convince Mia to take off her clothes and then evaluates her. As Woodman is the only one in the room with Mia, the camera is stationary, with just one angle, making for some raw, but boring footage. He hammers away at her pussy in the same position, spinning her around to get more looks, before eventually changing things up. An internal pop makes for an anti-climatic end, though Woodman's last pumps are so animated that they make it all worthwhile.

This is the first of three scenes from Faust, a high concept porn masquerading as a mainstream film. I would have preferred the scene to remain first-person, but I can see the symbolism involved, if it was actually intentional.

Concluding Words:

I wish more star compilations were done this way. The interview gives a lot of good information about Mia, while the sex scenes are, for the most part, pretty hot. Adding in an exclusive scene for this disc is just icing on the cake. I definitely recommend this disc for any Mia Stone fans. Unless you meet her in person, this is as good as its going to get. Otherwise, this is a rental, as most star-focused compilations should be. There's simply not enough variety unless you really like the disc's focus.
