Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The older scenes were extra grainy but even the newest ones didn't look all that great. There was video noise and mosquito noise on top of some color bleeding too. The audio was presented in stereo English with little, if any, separation. The music was usually not too loud in most cases here, which was a pleasant surprise over some other compilations.

Body of Review: Those familiar with Vivid and the companies compilations will understand how many contract performers the company seems to go through on a regular basis. Some times it's to get fresh blood in while other times it's a marketing gimmick used to encourage fans to keep coming back to them. Considering the size of the company, it's hard to argue that their strategy is wrong. This said, here's a look at a former contract performer of theirs in a recent compilation, Under Contract: Lexus. The movie is a group of ten sex scenes edited to exclude the talking and plot points in order to provide fans with what they ask for; more sex with their favorite stars. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by original movie title, director, and cast:

Scene One: A Woman Scorned: D-Babylon: Lexus, the blonde cutie featured in this compilation, and Tony, had a scene in a hot tub at night. It was a by-the-numbers scene with straight and oral sex only but okay for fans.

Scene Two: Babylon: D-Michael Zen: Lexus and Vince had a scene in an outdoor pool during daylight hours. The audio track was bizarre at times (intentionally though) but the run of the mill sex wasn't bad. The worst thing about the scene was how short it was (not Vince either).

Scene Three: Cream On 2: D-Jim Enright: Lexus and Charlie had a lesbian scene outdoors on a lawn chair and on the grass (well, on a towel on the grass). There was mostly oral but they used a dildo too. It wasn't bad.

Scene Four: Debbie Does Dallas-The Next Generation: D-Paul Thomas: Lexus and Jon had a scene in the shower stall of a locker room. She was dressed as a cheerleader and he was taking a shower (so he had no clothes on at all). The lighting was off but the basic scene wasn't too bad. She looked a lot like April Flowers does now, except for the implants.

Scene Five: Sexual Outlaw: D-Ralph Parfait: Lexus, Ruby and Brad had a scene in a large living room. It started with Brad teasing Lexus a bit and then going down on her while Ruby masturbated. Ruby then joined them and Lexus gave Brad a blowjob. A few more positions and Brad was pounding on Lexus's pussy and then Ruby's. This was the best scene of the show by this point.

Scene Six: Cream On 1: D-Jim Enright: Lexus, Alyssa, and Peter had a scene on a bed. This scene wasn't bad either with Lexus showing some energy for a change. Peter even got some anal from Alyssa before he popped. This one was not bad either.

Scene Seven: House Of Sleeping Beauties 3: D-Paul Thomas: Lexus and Jon were back at it. This time they were in a small kitchen and had some oral and straight sex. It looked like fun with some chemistry between them.

Scene Eight: Debbie Does Dallas 99: D-Paul Thomas: Lexus, Lovette, and Billy had a warm scene with Lexus wearing a cheerleading outfit (though not for long) and Lovette wearing red lingerie. There was anal on Lovette and the scene was okay, if average.

Scene Nine: Mobster's Wife: D-Paul Thomas: Lexus and Vince had a very short scene in an office cubicle. She started off by warming herself up with a vibrator before he joined her for an energetic screw. I liked it.

Scene Ten: Pleasureland: D-Jim Enright: Lexus and Nikki had a decent lesbian scene on a bed. I thought the couple looked good together and both seemed to enjoy lesbian action. Most of the sex was oral although a toy was used a bit as well.

Summary: Lexus was never my favorite performer since she rarely displayed the kind of sexual energy I like in a porn star. I admit that her blonde hair, curvy body, and sensual lips were appealing though so I'm giving this one a rating of Rent It. I just hope someone at Vivid realizes that the forced spam at the front of their movies is bothersome and lowers the value of their releases to those of us who generally like a number of their contract stars. There was a fair amount of fuck for the buck but not as much as I'd like for the price. Fans will want to check it out though.
