Extra's: My favorite extra was the POV blowjob by Katja Kassin on Jake Malone that lasted about 13 minutes. Audio/Video Quality: Tear Me A New One was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Jake Malone for Platinum X Pictures. The fleshtones were solid, the lighting generally very well done (a bit more fill lighting might've helped eliminate the minor shadows though), and the camera angles were flattering to the women most of the time. Composition of the scenes is more important than some producers seem to realize so I was happy that Jake took his time with most of these scenes with this in mind. There will be some of you that disapprove of the small, light watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture but this isn't that uncommon these days and I barely noticed it as the action was towards the center of the screen. The stereo English audio was basic and allowed me to hear the cast but there was no big separation between the channels and the dynamic range was kind of weaker than average.

Body of Review: Platinum X Pictures has now been around long enough to bare the scrutiny of fans and critics alike. Always similar to their kissing cousin company, Red Light District, PXP has made great strides since opening up and has become one of the dominant companies in porn for circus act sex (companies like Evil Angel don't even do anal creampies anymore if you believe recent reports). If you're looking for high end technical values and attractive women, you need look no further than whatever latest release they offer in order to find those but their strength is often in the focus of whatever fetish they're addressing at a given time. The company's 153rd release, Tear Me A New One, managed to showcase some very attractive gals doing anal and lots of tricks for the cameras, with the extreme factor approaching the point where some states will probably ban the movie if given the chance. It wasn't perfect but it had a lot of sustainable heat and energy, the kind that takes a fusion of elements to successfully pull off. If you're looking for a light hearted romp in the hay, look elsewhere but if you want balls to the wall action, this one will definitely give you a lot to stroke to compared to the horde of gonzo porn available at your local dealer.
