Note:  The following is a review for the Blu-Ray version of Teagan: Sexual Freak 2, a Robby D. led series at Digital Playground that was released in standard definition DVD over a year ago to heaps of praise by Teagan's fans.  The content of the movie was the same and the extras barely modified to include BR trailers that show off the higher resolution of the titles that are either out or about to come out in the popular new format. The quick version of the review is that the show looks substantially better but it always looked pretty good so it's value as a double dip will depend on your wallet size (I'd say it had a slight edge on the HD-DVD version I reviewed not long ago too though).  I suggest you check out this Trailer for Teagan: Sexual Freak 2 HD to get a better idea of what it looks like in this new form.  Enjoy!

Extra's: Teagan Presley was the focus of the interesting 16:45 minute long Behind the Scenes (though Robby got lots of vocal time). I applaud the recent decision to add substantive extras to the company's movies even if the humor was not always really nice to the cast (Christian's erection problems and licking his semen off the floor for being late come to mind, as do Teagan's added in fart noises). The other extras were the usual photogallery, biography of Teagan, slide show, and trailers to shows like Pirates II, Island Fever 4 Blu-Ray, Jack's POV 1 Blu-Ray,Cheerleaders BR, Babysitters BR, Pirates BR, Jack's Teen America 3 BR, Island Fever 3 BR, and others.

Audio/Video Quality: Teagan: Sexual Freak 2 BR was presented in the same 1.78:1 widescreen color it was shot in by cameramen Scott K. and Robby D. for director Robby D. to be released by Digital Playground. In terms of lighting and sheer quality of picture, the movie was looking about as solid as anything shot for the company in 720p with the scenes all being distinctively captured in varying styles that again reminded me of the Celeste style Robbie records for the erotica series his main squeeze directs. The HD version of the movie was shot in 720p (using the same Panasonic cameras the company has used on most of their older shoots) and upconverted it to 1080p but the net effect was a decent picture if not in the same league as newer productions by the company. The video codec used was the standard AVC, and there was some grain and video noise present, but the details popped out thanks to the higher resolution and it was truly an upgrade (if a marginal one at that). There was again a conscious effort to tone down the Celeste style of shooting Robby became to incorporate in some flicks and bring in some vocals as well as more straightforward gonzo standards; a pleasing compromise for those of us that prefer the edgier stuff but appreciate the softer material at times too (though I'd turn the knob a couple more notches towards Robbie's better gonzo style for future outings to make it even better). There was no grain or video noise observed, I saw no compression artifacts, and the composition of the scenes was such that all the gals were made to look fantastic; the bitrate all over the place with a general tendency to hover in the 21 Mbps range when I paid the most attention to it (the numbers alone do not tell the story in this format though). It was a 5 Dolby Digital track (this was another with a missing ".1" lack of subwoofer) using the 448 Kbps bitrate at 48 kHz and had some minor separation and dynamic range on the music but like all such productions, there was no separation between the vocals so don't get all excited about it. The other good thing about this one was that some vocals were employed along with the music, elevating the levels of perceived chemistry for me. The music was pretty solid in most cases too, providing the variety needed to give the scenes some extra replay value. I'm curious where the 5.1 track went though this might be some quirk in the mastering.

Body of Review: Having watched Jesse Jane: Sexual Freak 1 earlier this summer, I noticed a few changes that made me sit up and take notice about the release by veteran director Robby D.. Instead of his usual gonzo style, or the style he uses under the Celeste trademark, he tried to provide something of a cross between the two and make a porno that could incorporate the best of both worlds. In large part, I thought the style seemed to work as a change of pace but also strengthening some of the weaker aspects of both styles in the process. His latest movie using this evolved form of porn (I'd call it "Celeste modified" or "alt Celeste" but technically those wouldn't fit the bill either) is Teagan: Sexual Freak 2 Blu-Ray; a showcase to the hot little former contract performer from Houston, TX that gave her three scenes to impress her fans with. One was a short solo scene but the others showed a domineering side to her that isn't typical and may appeal even more to her fans. That said, here's a brief look at the scenes noting that two condoms were used but also that new contract star Shay Jordan also made her debut in the movie:

Scene One: Teagan Presley, the lovely hotty plastered all over the front DVD cover, was up first in the role of a dominatrix with Christian XXX playing the role of her slave. Her outfit was skimpy and black; barely covering her goodies as she brandished her whip and lorded it over the wimpy guy. He licked her shoe clean and she returned the favor by sitting on his face and slapping him around. Once turned on, she started sucking his cock as she demanded he verbalize his appreciation before eventually giving up on the awesome oral in favor of aggressively riding his condom clad cock. The close ups and editing were a bit too tight at times but she continued to verbalize her control over him as she pumped away as if she were on fire. I especially liked the gyrating hips she provided and it ended when he jerked off to the wooden floor, only to be made to lick up his own spew; a trick he did all too willingly in the BTS (I'm kidding; he actually licked up a little and made a face). It was a semi-solid scene to start off with; Teagan showing the world she has plenty left to give us in terms of heated scenes even while Christian's wood problems were thankfully edited out (he had a hard night of partying with Hooter's Girls according to the BTS; conduct that eventually limited his body of work with the company he never took responsibility for while he currently blogs about the bad old D.P. company).

Scene Two: Shay Jordan, an incredibly sexy new contract gal for the company in her first scene, was up next as she played a stern teacher to Scott Nails' student. Her prim & proper façade gave way to a major incentive for him to enjoy as she slowly stripped off her outfit and let him orally service her. She was in charge here too, taking off his clothing to gain access to Scott's throbbing rod, sucking him off with plenty of skill as her hand to gland combat style accentuated the mouth work she gave him. There was some minor titty play and once she truly let her hair down, her exotic look gave me pause to think she's going to break a lot of hearts. Scene Four: Teagan Presley, this time in a solo tease scene on a white fluffy ottoman in an outfit that accentuated her curves and added in some psychedelic effects though not enough to piss me off. It didn't last long enough for me but it was a nice little warm up for fans.

Scene Five: Riley Shy, one of the latest flavor-of-the-month types that actually shows some potential for her smoking hot body, pretty eyes, and sexually aggressive skills, was up next with Scott Nails. Her tight beige shorts didn't last long and he started sucking her ass when given the chance by the nasty little redhead. The living room couch provided the perfect backdrop for the action as she ordered him about; enjoying his oral ministrations front and back. Her blowjob was too short and used as much hand as mouth but she was ready to rumble with him poking her pussy so I can't blame her for not sticking with a given formula. It took her awhile to warm up to his shaft hammering away inside her and she never displayed her full potential in terms of actively working it deep down inside of her but the lustful look in her eye as he rubbed out a load to her face spoke volumes as to how much she wanted to be there (in her case, a lot more than I've seen her in some previous works elsewhere).

Scene Six: Teagan Presley, all dressed in a formal black outfit, took charge of houseboy Jean Val Jean in the last scene of the day. This led to a grudge fuck of sorts where he went down on her thoroughly as both of them pushed the limits of the other. Summary: Teagan: Sexual Freak 2BR was a hot piece of porn for fans of Teagan but as the debut of Shay Jordan, it went beyond my expectations. Shay has a fresh new look that all the fans are going to be talking about and her initial performance was top notch compared to some of her peers. Still, the other gals in the show were also skilled and the net effect of the six scenes was to offer up a very stroke worthy bit of fun that had the kind of intensity and passion you've all been looking for. There were some minor rough edges but I figured it was one I could suggest as Recommended easily enough, nearly going up another notch in the process. I think I would've liked to see Shay and Teagan go at one another (if not have them give an old reviewer a mercy ride) but I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of them both given their sustainable sexual antics in movies such as Teagan: Sexual Freak 2 BR. If you'd rather have circus act sex or abuse porn, by all means look elsewhere but for the thematic domination provided by the ladies in the movie, you aren't likely to find better elsewhere these days.
