The Movie:

Teagan Presley's been developing a pretty strong following over the last couple of years and with good reason - she's a lot of fun to look at and is a very charismatic and enthusiastic performer. Quite frankly, she looks like she'd be a lot of fun in the bedroom and she does a great job on camera. Digital Playground gives her the spotlight with Teagan: All-American Girl, a collection of nine scenes in which Teagan stars in six. There isn't really a plot here though each scene focuses on that girl-next-door quality that Teagan manages to work so effectively. Expect lots of soft focus and slow motion cinematography as well as a lot of colorful outfits and playful details scattered throughout the production that wind up making this movie a whole lot of fun.

Scene One: Teagan Presley And Evan Stone When this first scene starts, naughty Teagan is hanging around outside strutting her stuff. Evan moves into the frame and plays with her tits a bit before spreading her legs and eating her out. He fucks her up the ass from behind and then she rides him reverse cowgirl. That means there's no real live audio here, and you don't hear the performers do much of anything - this hurts the movie. This is otherwise a very slickly produced and completely sexy production, but when you can't hear the sex (seeing isn't everything) it really feels like something is missing.

That complaint aside, this is a strong effort from Digital Playground. The performers all look great and the camerawork is perfect. The sets and production values are all top notch and the music that is laid over top of everything sounds nice and fits each scene nicely. All in all, despite the complaint against the audio, Teagan: All-American Girl is still very much worthwhile.

The DVD

Video:

Teagan All-American Girl looks nice in this 1080p AVC 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, once again proving that the guys doing the HD authoring over at Digital Playground know what they're doing. There's a lot of detail present throughout, even in the scenes that have been filtered to look intentionally soft (the movie frequently employs a soft look to give the picture a dream-like quality). There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction and skin tones look excellent throughout. There aren't any problems with shimmering either, resulting in a very eye-pleasing transfer.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is - and it really would have been nice to see an HD sound mix included. The levels are all properly balanced but there really isn't much here outside of the music - the sounds of the actual sex are more or less muted out, which does take away from the effectiveness of the material. The score sounds particularly good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. For an adult movie, the audio quality is better than average, but it doesn't really take advantage of the Blu-ray format at all.

Extras:

DP have included a quick Behind The Scenes featurette that clocks in at just over nine minutes. Here you'll find some footage of Teagan relaxing with some 'self help' CDs before her scene starts before moving on to some candid on set interviews with the cast and crew. It's all done with a fairly fun sense of humor and while it isn't all that informative, it is at least amusing which makes it worth a look.

Motion menus, the standard Digital Playground trailer gallery, a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release. All of the extras are presented in standard definition.

Final Thoughts:

Ms. Presley's fans will no doubt enjoy Teagan: All-American Girl, even if the audio is a disappointment (not so much in the presentation but in the way that it's been mixed). The video quality is strong, and even if the extras aren't all that exciting, the material is sexy making this a good choice for couples. Recommended.
