The Movie:

The second entry in Hustler's Barely Legal - Straight A Students is a good one, combining hot anal action with some welcome fresh faced talent. This latest entry does absolutely nothing to break the mold and delivers pretty much exactly what you'd expect an entry in this series to deliver at this point in the game (well, it does on ass, that's what the 'A' stands for after all), but it does it well. Hustler's standard five scenes per feature rule applies here as well, so without further ado, let's get down to it:

Scene One -Christina Agave: This perky blonde has a rather endearing gap in her front teeth that's simultaneously nerdy and hot - either that or there's something wrong with me. At any rate, she starts her scene off with a very brief tease before her man de jour enters the frame and at the ready. Barely Legal - Straight A Students 2 looks good in this 1.78.1 widescreen transfer save for the fact that some of it appears to have been shot with some intentional softness in mind - you'll notice this in the outdoor girl/girl scene. This reduces detail in some shots. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks quite natural. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it. All in all, this disc offers up a pretty decent transfer.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD release is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (7:16, fullframe) featurette. It only focuses on Larissa Dee, however - none of the other girls appear here at all. That said, by the end of the featurette she's got her legs spread for the camera and her fingers are doing the walking, so it's worth checking out. The Barley Legal: How It All Began (5:00) featurette that Hustler has been tossing onto discs in this line for the better part of a year now is also included.

Motion menus, trailers, a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release. All of the extras are presented in standard definition.

Final Thoughts:

If you want to see younger looking girls getting down and dirty with a focus on ass play and anal sex, then Hustler's Barely Legal - Straight A Students 2 is just what the doctor ordered. It doesn't break from the series' mold much, outside of the asscentric kink that is, but it does what it does well and provides a fair bit of spankability even if it is light on extras. Recommended!
