Audio/Video Quality: Double Vision 3 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Erik Everhard for Jules Jordan Video using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Everhard focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Erik's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing could have used some polishing up but the basics were covered handily, the end result pretty close to what I expected out of the show. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 4.1 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see (there was some inherent grain at times though). The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere. The limited music was okay but nothing special.

Body of Review: Erik Everhard is one of the most powerful male performers in the adult world, his work on both sides of the camera at Jules Jordan Video impressing the ladies as much as the guys who wish they could trade places with the director. His latest title is a single disc release called Double Vision 3, Erik getting to nail two women in each scene. With cast cuties like Ashlyn Rae, Tanya James, and Charlie Lynn (formerly Chloe Dash) as well as more established names such as Bobbi Starr, Marie McCray, and Faye Reagan, it struck me that this would be a lot of fun to watch, even the cover suggesting the obvious truism that “2 is always better than 1”. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Charlie Lynn and Heather Starlet, the two blonds seen over on the middle of the right side of the front cover, were up first to open the festivities with Erik Everhard. Summary: Double Vision 3 by director Erik Everhard for Jules Jordan Video was much shorter than the previous volumes of the series (I only saw the first) but it still had the kind of quality one might expect given the technical assistance of Tim Von Swine behind the camera and Erik tapping some mighty fine ass in front of the lens so I rated this one as worthy of being considered Highly Recommended. Like most folks, I prefer the double disc offerings the company has made all but a trademark in recent years but economic realities aside, this one was full of hardcore sex with the added bonus of ladies wanting Erik to pound their pussies (and asses) into next week so it benefited from the leaner treatment in some ways too. In short, Double Vision 3 showed a lot of physically attractive ladies getting the Everhard hammer as getting into each other in most cases as well, none of them willing to stay on the sidelines when the sexual activities were taking place. If you appreciate youthful women with solid performing skills going full bore sexually, you will want to consider picking this one up too.
