Extras: The best extra was the 9 minute long scene where Jenna Presley enjoyed herself with an anonymous sperm donor orally. Audio/Video Quality: Swallow My Pride #9 was presented in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio it was shot in by director David Luger for distribution by Red Light District. The lighting was decent and this allowed the picture to remain moderately free of grain and video noise but it wasn't the very best looking show by this otherwise skilled director. There were moments that the picture was slightly sub-optimal and my common complaint about limited fill lighting remained though it still wasn't as bad as most competitors. The composition of the shots was such that it seemed to enhance the look of most of the gals too, something I suspect is largely due to David's understanding of what works and what doesn't. I saw no compression artifacts when watching it so fans should appreciate the technical matters here. There was the company logo watermark in the lower right hand corner of the picture but it was small and light so it might not bother you (it didn't bug me).The stereo English audio was fairly standard with the levels set properly and the scenes bereft of music to get in the way. I could hear the cast moan, groan, and talk dirty but the dynamic range and separation between the channels was nothing special.

Body of Review: Red Light District had been a leading force in the advancement of gonzo porn for years now, releasing about 400 titles under their banner, by a number of talented directors. One of their best for awhile now has been David Luger, although I'll admit that he hasn't been as consistent of late (I've chalked it up to his leaving the company although I'm being told he has stayed on in a diminished capacity for months now). His most recent release on DVD is Swallow My Pride #9, a series I've enjoyed a number of times, the last one being Swallow My Pride 7. The series showcases gals that have hardcore sex and swallow semen, lots of semen, before the next scene appears. If that's what you're into, you could do worse than this one though it wasn't the best volume in the series by a long shot. Here's a brief glimpse into the scenes by cast and action (the men were not credited and the camera angles failed to show most of them so your mileage may vary), noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: Amber Rayne, a lean young brunette with a girl next door look, started off the movie with a descriptive summary of what she wanted to do (suck down some male ejaculate) as she teased on the couch. If you like gals with a boyish body, she'll appeal more to you than she did to me but Richard Kline/Raymond seemed to appreciate her plenty as he fingered her during her bold dirty talk. While I still think he's in great need of some time in the gym (aren't we all?), she was small enough to make him look almost gifted in terms of cock size. The scene totaled about 40 minutes and while it was not all that great to me, it was better than a root canal.

Scene Two: Ginger Lee, the very cute gal from the front DVD cover, put on her Southern accent and showcased her all natural body for the next scene. As I have long held, experience is an ally to heated porn scenes and she was a welcome addition to the younger, if far less skillful gals in the cast. Mark Wood was the lucky son of a gun that got to appreciate her firsthand, with her giving a great blowjob and sweet face sitting session (too short though) before riding his cock like she was possessed. The vaginal wasn't enough for her so she took it in the ass too, further evidence of a great performer that is all too often not appreciated enough by the production companies. Her hip grinding alone was worth the rest of the action, marking a great scene surrounded by mediocrity. Scene Four: Lexi Belle, a skinny gal with light hair and a boyish body was up next on the bed with Jerry and Richard Kline/Raymond. The other gals were younger but she clearly shined head and shoulders above any of the others and elevated the heat, chemistry, and value of the DVD to a rating of Rent It from one I'd have otherwise suggested you pass up. The other scenes weren't all bad but they really didn't show any consistency in terms of quality and while I like seeing lots of fuck for the buck; my preference is always quality fuck for the buck, not just quantity as a few of my critics seem to believe. Give it a look or don't but see about catching Gia's performance if you're into watching gals tear through men like they have a need for seed.
