Extras: The extras were few in number this time but thankfully included a 66:07 minute Behind the Scenes feature by Holden Jay (that included a number of outtakes as advertised on the case). There was also a photogallery for those that care but the BTS allowed Sunny to explain her point of view as executive producer/performer. Yeah, it was a total fluff piece but having more naked chicks is always a good idea to me.

Audio/Video Quality: Sunny's Slumber Party was presented in 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color (and B&W) as shot by director Spencer Benedict for Sunlust Pictures as their first collaboration with Sunny's new production company, Sunlust Pictures (this being movie #2 from the company). The resolution was the expected 480i and the mastering process employed the MPEG-2 codec was a drastic improvement from the last time the company released a title but the framing was off, the lighting marginal at times, and it struck me as another production in need of professional guidance. I state this because Sunny is such a good looking lady that most people equate her best movies, those shot under director B. Skow, as what she is supposed to look like, anything else to date being a disappointment. The editing was fair and the shadows so routinely observed were not the very worst I've seen in the last ten years of reviewing but I still sensed the production was missing the polished look Vivid usually provides so while I won't hold them accountable for the many minor failings of this movie, they really should have pulled Sunny aside and told her the truth about the need for quality control. The majority of material appeared to have been shot by a single camera this time, missing out on some opportunities as a result but giving the editor something to work with for a change. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English with a 192 Kbps bitrate and the standard 48 kHz sampling rate, the vocals a step up from the last Sunlust title but still sounding as though some work was left unfinished. The music was not as lame as last time either but you won't be looking for it to put on your iPod anytime soon.

Body of Review: Sunlust Pictures is best known for being the production arm of Sunny Leone's attempts to bring some ideas to the table rather than rely solely on her contract with Vivid Entertainment Spencer Benedict for Sunny's Slumber Party The back of the box cover described the movie like this: "When Sunny Leone's parents leave town for the weekend, Sunny plans the slumber party of the year including a sneaky visit from her boyfriend. Her plans go awry when the mysterious Uncle Bill shows up suddenly to keep an eye on the house." If you're like me, you know how hot Sunny Leone is and whatever major limitations she imposes on herself like working with fourth tier mopes, hiring marginal crews, or sketching out ideas for movies but not following through very hard, she is still a first class hotty so if you happen to watch this movie, please keep in mind that most people learning the ropes make mistakes (so try not to hold them against her). Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sunny Leone, the hotty featured on the left side of the front cover, was up first out by the pool in her revealing pink dress. She was hesitant to allow moper Ariel King, a Barrett Blade wannabe, have her before later that night, the wisdom of her father escaping her. After repeatedly pressuring her to have sex though, she acquiesced to giving him a blowjob, her outfit tossed aside to reveal Sunny's big breasts swaying as she dropped to her knees to work him over. It wasn't a big pecker and the funny angle it had seemed to make it a lot easier for Sunny to handle orally, most of it disappearing when she placed her small hand over it. Sunny jerked him off as she slobbed his knob actively, savoring the taste with some tongue action and providing a bit of the titty fucking but his wad was so slight that if you blink, you will miss it, Ariel showing the emotional range of a brick when he allegedly bust a few drops of genetic juice into her mouth for rubbing on her snatch. The lack of chemistry here was a pain though the humor afterwards of what he did wrong was pretty amusing with his pal, Spencer.

Scene 1.5: Sunny Leone, looking as great as ever, was up next in the bath tub masturbating, an exchange of dialogue between her and her "uncle" (portrayed by Ron Jeremy) apparently putting her in the mood to rub one out. She splashed water on her tits and the camera seemed to remain in perpetual close up on her body parts, Sunny lotioning herself and diddling herself with her fingers briefly.

Scene Two: Jenna Haze, one of the most popular gals in porn at this writing (seen on the cover on the top row as the first gal beside Sunny), was up next with Sunny Leone, seducing her friend in the bedroom from out of her solo tryst. They exchanged kisses and caresses but as reticent as Sunny was to cheat on her loser boyfriend, Jenna's exploring tongue was insistent and unyielding, the gal winning over Sunny in a few short moments. The majority of the scene was made up of kissing, eating each other out (a lot of it in a 69), and then diddling with fingers and dildos with Jenna's performance substantially more convincing. The pacing was off and the chemistry limited but the energy levels were certainly decent enough, Sunny's exotic allure enough to add some replay value all by itself. The color tones were off and the scene would have benefitted from a second camera but it had some erotic appeal before Joanna's tirade had me laughing for how over the top it was (reminding me of her own works and the recent role she played in TMSleaze).

Scene Three: Kiara Diane, the lean blond on the front cover (second from the middle beside Jenna up top), was up next as she stripped for James Deen, pulling him away from his poker game in the most efficient manner possible. Underneath her street clothing was a tiny bikini outfit like strippers wear, it coming off as they frolicked in the piano room. He ate her as he beat his meat, soon vaginally drilling her to lube her up before she blew him with practiced ease. He choked her a little and she was mostly a passive lay, her one shining moment outside of her splendid oral skills being when she was on top. It ended when he dropped a small load of population pudding onto her face and chest.

Scene Four: Sunny Leone, wearing a the outfit she wore on the front cover (which was sheer enough to see her nipples in the impaired lighting), was up next giving it up to Ariel King after his advice from Spencer seemed to work for him. They left the slumber party for a brief moment to engage in sex, Ariel working her legs and tits before eating her out (and fingering her ass) in the bedroom. She then tore his pants off and mounted his face, her repetitive moans a bit lackadaisical but again, her physique such that her physical appeal was obvious. They moved into a 69 and the camera focused on him going down on her rather than the more traditional approach of showing her blow him (curious!), the guy pulling out a vibrator to penetrate her with before he switched to his smaller cock. Sunny was a passive ride for most of the scene but showed a lot more potential when she was on top of him, gyrating her hips and impaling herself on the admittedly small, but unsheathed penis. The resulting pop shot was again not obvious and this time was in the form of a vaginal cream pie, the spew limited and I'll leave it up to the viewer to decide if it was genuine.

Scene Five: Alexis Texas (upper right corner), Monique Alexander (lower right corner), Alyssa Reece (brunette on the back cover on the lower right corner), and Sunny Leone, were up last in a lesbian orgy where they shared penis pop ice cream treats and various dildos. They were all giggling and playful, soon pairing off with Alexis doing Alyssa while Monique did Sunny, the gals swapping partners repeatedly as they ate each other and moved to penetration by sex toys like strap on dildos. The dirty talk aside, it was not the best shot such tryst I've seen of late, providing some replay value along with the strokability but not as much as a highly rated cast like this should have. It ended with the gals all servicing Sunny, even her feet, resting atop one another before the limited story closed up.

Summary: Sunny's Slumber Party by director Spencer Benedict for Sunlust Pictures was another mediocre effort though at least this time, some humor and the performances of outsiders helped elevate the score to a respectable Rent It. Granted, if you are a huge slavering fanboy of Sunny Leone, this will be a "must have, gotta see" fuck flick as it was for me but the lack of chemistry in most scenes weakened the replay value and the passion was all too often missing even when the enthusiasm by one partner tried in vain to make a tryst better. Still, Sunny's Slumber Party was a definitely welcome move in the right direction for the company and with a little polishing up, the potential to mirror the success of her better work at Vivid Entertainment is entirely within her grasp so I continue to look forward to seeing her climb her way to the top.
