Audio/Video Quality: Riding The Plying Pink Pig was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Erica McLean for Hustler/Cheeky Monkey. While the cover stated it was shot in high definition, the production did not look as sharp as the previous two volumes in the series. The editing by Otzi the Iceman and Peelhead was definitely sloppy at times, almost as if the show was going for a rougher look, but the lighting was decent and the camera work seemed okay, the composition of the camera angles enhancing the look of the ladies in most cases (despite some cramped quarters for fucking in Nikki’s scene). The flesh tones were accurate and I saw few compression artifacts or video noise, the video bitrate hovering around the 4.2 Mbps when I spot checked the screener copy that came in for review. The audio was offered up in a Dolby Digital 2.0 with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 256 Kbps audio bitrate. The big selling point of the movie was the inclusion of some musical interludes by none other than Snoop Dogg (singing “Pink Pussy”), Mack 10, Def K (Khali Slyam), YG $oprano, and Boney Jones; the music not from any of their A lists but still showing a willingness to reestablish a link between porn and popular music (both industries having flirted with each other a few times in the past).

Body of Review: Erica McLean is best known for her work on the Hustler Barely Legal series. These days, I haven’t seen much from her but she rejoins the Hustler team for her latest movie, Riding The Plying Pink Pig. The first two titles in the series were cute but lacked much staying power for me, this volume switching distributors to become a Hustler project and presumably get a huge popularity boost by virtue of some musical guest stars such as Snoop Dogg. Personally, while this automatically makes the title pre-nom worthy for the music, it doesn’t add a lot to the strokability or replay value of the movie as a porno, my mind wide open as I went into watching it for review. Here’s a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Liz Taylor with Billy

Scene One: Sunny Lane, a curvy blond bombshell currently taking a break from porn, was up first as she paid off mechanic Danny Mountain in a time tested manner. Wearing her cute little outfit, she stripped down and kissed him, Danny warming her up by hand more than using oral before she blew him. The music was intrusive here, something that was common throughout the show, but Sunny gave a good knob slobbing before some limited doggy style vaginal penetration led to his genetic juice being tossed all over her ass. Sunny gave some post coital head and then the next scene began.

Scene Two: Victoria Lawson, a cute brunette sporting pigtails, was up next with pimped out Marco Banderas by his large white car, the two caressing each other mechanically as her clothing slowly came off. They pawed each other and she jerked him off during a limited hummer (only sucking the head though licking the shaft), her superior eye contact nicely done as she prepared him to pound her pussy. She was most active on top of him and during the titty fuck but most inviting in doggy on the rickety old bed which led to him unleashing his spunk into her mouth.

Scene Four: Nikki Hunter, the virtual narrator of the show, was then up in the roach coach food truck of the title with Seth Gamble. She pawed him and disrobed him aggressively but it was abundantly clear she wanted him in her mouth so she cut loose to inhaling his rod in the cramped quarters that limited the camera work so very much. Her clean shaven snatch was the target of his pecker from there, his gaze unsteady but Nikki keeping him on track in the hammering mindset. There appears to have been a problem capturing the pop shot this time, some unconvincing splooge dripping from Nikki’s mouth just as likely to be fake given the editing process that led to the footage.

Scene Five: Tessa Taylor, Sasha Heart, and Cytherea were up next in a lesbian tryst that began with them cooking some cupcakes, penis shaped lollipops dipped in icing leading to a variety of rug munching and caresses until the expected pissing (“squirting”) took place. They did use a vibrator and also sat next to each other on the counter as they masturbated, the lighting and length of the scene perhaps the best of the batch for the entire movie. They also seemed to have the only real chemistry of the flick for those paying attention.

Scene Six: Andy San Dimas, the young lady seen sported on the right side of the front cover, was up last with Mr. Marcus, his mind wandering to a lost memory card until she pulled him away from his duties using her slutty attire and box of tasty food. They kicked back on the couch and she quickly whipped out his pecker for sucking, the look of the scene substantially different from the other scenes. Andy slobbed his knob aggressively and used some hand to gland combat to ready him for the vaginal friction to come, Marcus happily obliging her with a tiny bit of warming up before she actively rode his rod. While Andy worked it like a professional, she did so mechanically, at least fingering her ass a bit to show she was having fun though the pop shot again seemed fake as she gave some last moment head.

Summary: Riding The Plying Pink Pig by director Erica McLean for Hustler was a set of barely related sex scenes tied precariously together by the thinnest of feature elements to merit a rating of Rent It. I liked the music even when it got repetitive and the female cast members were decent enough but there was scant chemistry in most scenes and the editing bounced this around a lot with an emphasis on less explicit sex. It was another fun romp though and well worth a look or two, just check it out before shelling out any hard earned cash. In short, Riding The Plying Pink Pig relied more heavily on a gimmick soundtrack than the basics that make for a successful porno, the resulting aural aspects nicely done but at the expense of everything one looks for in a great fuck flick.
