Extras: The 39:20 minutes of bonus scenes will prove to be the best extras, the five appearing to be edited from their original forms. I included detailed descriptions of most of them below for those who care. I actually prefer extras unique to the movie itself though so the 18:04 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was more interesting. Monique Alexander was clearly the most important thing to cameraman Graham Crack Herr (for good reason) but it also showed the cast & crew getting ready. It was a solid mix of material so I enjoyed it more than usual. There was then a biography for Monique Alexander, some trailers, spam, and a photogallery.

Audio/Video Quality: All Dressed Up was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480i resolution. For those unfamiliar with his background, suffice it to say that his experience outside of porn is superior to many inside the industry and it shows up in his movies, including this one as shot in 1080i high definition, though presented in the SD format (for now) using 1080i to provide a lot of resolution supporting some of the effects (making it look more like a real movie than just a porno). The lighting was well handled and this added to the pleasure of watching the gals in play as the lengthy scenes gave them enough freedom to explore their sexuality. The composition of the camera angles and lighting were almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible (and the editing by "Harry Crumb" was a decided step up from the last project of Skow's I reviewed). The fleshtones were accurate too and the DVD mastering was well done (if only in a bitrate hovering around 4.5 Mbps), making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards above average. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. For some reason, the levels were about the same as usual but aside from the added background noise, the dynamic range was average and the separation of the vocal track nonexistent.

Body of Review: B. Skow is one of those directors that caught my eye awhile back, showing more than a modicum of technical expertise but even more importantly proving himself able to enhance the performances of those he shoots at Vivid Entertainment. I know he is still something of an unknown element these days but the word is definitely spreading and in time, I suspect he will help the company reclaim its place in the industry. His latest title to make it to me is All Dressed Up, a series of unrelated vignettes focusing on outfits and the gals that wear them, particularly showcasing former contract starlet Monique Alexander in three of the five scenes. For those that care, the uniforms in question were stripper versions of said uniforms but I doubt any straight male will care given the nicely curved bodies cast in the flick. The back cover described the movie like this: "The school girl. The cop. The prisoner. The nurse. The French maid. Everyone has a different fantasy and every one is in uniform...and B Skow is no different. So he took his favorite girls, dressed them to the hilt, and then had them strip slowly and fuck hard. The result is the hottest costume party of all time. And you're invited. (Casual attire, of course.)." Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Monique Alexander, the sexy but lean blond featured on the left side of the front cover, was up first playing a "naughty schoolgirl" with muff buffer skirt, black panties, and thigh high stockings complimenting her all too lean physique. In short, All Dressed Up will serve as another notch in the belt of director Skow, his star still rising in the porn industry as he continues his quest to revive Vivid to their former stature with his heated works.
