Extras: In terms of extras, the 15:09 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was the best for me. Shot by Jamal Johnson and edited by Nick P, it showed off the cast during photoshoots, giving interviews, and mugging for the camera. The inclusion of a standard DVD will appease those who have yet to get a Blu-ray player but frankly, given the quality of upgrade and the current price of such devices, I doubt many reading this will be without one. There was also a photogallery and some trailers, no slipcover included this time.

Audio/Video Quality: Watch Over Me was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking good though the high definition version was a really nice upgrade. It was edited by Keethan Hawke and looked decent, the production doing a fair job of blending the modest feature elements with the sexual trysts, just lacking in pulling it all together into a coherent plot. The 5.1 Surround audio by Rubano Destroyer was also clear in both versions of the movie, the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals, music, and ambient noises were all put together well enough for such a limited movie.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the lead director at Digital Playground, the man capable of turning mush into magic when let loose to his own devices. His latest movie sent for review is called Watch Over Me, a showcase title for Stoya as a lovely lady having boyfriend troubles, her reliance on another man sure to be tested when it is discovered that he is not as devoted to her as he pretends to be. The back cover described the movie like this: “Stoya thought house-sitting would be a great getaway from her ex-boyfriend Erik Everhard. But when Erik follows her to a new location, he's able to sweet talk his way into her heart and her panties. Things turn bad when his heated jealousy goes into over drive. Luckily for Stoya, security guard James Deen is able to rid her of the ex. But James has a dark side as well when it's revealed he's planning on robbing the house with his buddies Tommy Gunn and Bill Bailey. The accomplices spend time banging beautiful strippers, Adrianna Luna and Karina White, while James' attraction for Stoya grows. After an intimate encounter with Stoya, James starts to show his true colors. Stripper Tasha Reign gets a sample of his hardcore behavior in an aggressive sex session. What happens when he shows that side to Stoya? Will she be able to get away from the one who watches over her?” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Stoya, the lean brunette hotty with flowing hair seen featured on the right side of the front cover, was up first in a tryst with Erik Everhard. He had been stalking her since she left him and she seemed okay with that, the man making her laugh so they hooked up with a smile, a laugh, a kiss, and all the rest. She sat on his lap while he diddled her pussy on top of her panties, Erik graciously removing her black dress to reveal just how ghostly white her skin has become. She wore shoes and skimpy bikini undies, ditching them as she embraced his sexual desires which included him gobbling her gash. With no character development and a very sketchy premise, I sensed no chemistry or connection between them, the limited number of positions leading to her opening her mouth to take him modest load of genetic juice before he exploded in another way (the matter settled in perhaps the most unbelievable manner I can recall in my entire porn viewing history with James Deen).

Scene Two: Karina White, the curvy gal seen on the lower left hand corner of the front cover (the babe with the curvy ass), was up next as a stripper doing Tommy Gunn. She was wearing a skimpy yellow dress that barely covered half her sweet ass, Tommy taking her from Bill to bring to the bedroom. He tossed her on the bed and she pulled her dress up as he covered her in little kisses, her erect nipples and elevated respiration rate such that she was clearly responding to his oral advances. Summary: Watch Over Me by director Robby D. for Digital Playground was a feature production showcasing attractive contract performer Stoya meriting a rating of Rent It from me, the story on the lean side and the sexual encounters designed to appeal more towards couples than hardcore porn fans. There was not enough time to build the characters into anything other than stereotypical people going through the motions, the conclusion therefore unsatisfying to say the least (but watching Stoya and others fuck was not half bad). In short, Watch Over Me had enough fuck for the buck and strokability to keep the devoted fanboys happy, especially those enamored with Stoya, but it fell short in terms of replay value, my preference for longer tease and better chemistry probably causing me to set the bar too high this time so give it a look and adjust the rating to your own scale, just know that there are a number of better showcase fuck flicks starring Stoya by the company so this should not be on the top of your list.
