The Movie:

First things first - Tormented, the latest from Wicked Pictures and director Jonathan Douglas, may look like a feature but it's not, it's a collection of six all sex vignettes. On top of that, despite the fact that Stormy Daniels' image is plastered all over the front and back of the packaging, she only appears in two scenes and they're far from her best work. Still interested? Read on.

The basic premise of this is that Stormy has gone a little nutty and because of that she craves deviant sex. This leads into the six scenes, which are, according to the packaging, taken from her darkest fantasies. It's a simple set up, and one that's been used a lot lately it seems (both Belladonna and Michael Ninn were on this train long before Douglas and comapny). In between each of the six scenes were get some footage of Stormy dealing with her inner demons and acting insane. It's not particularly sexy, and it's not particularly interesting. The six sex scenes, however, aren't bad. Here's a look:

Chapter 1 - Stormy Daniels And Sascha: Locked in a cell, Stormy's mind flashes back to before she was locked up. We see her strutting down a hallway dressed to the nines in a nurses' outfit. Sascha is on a stretcher and she seems him there and wastes no time taking advantage of him. She dry humps him and then rides him cowgirl and reverse cowgirl style before going at it missionary style and spoon style. Sascha eats her out and they hit it doggy style for a little while before going back to missionary where he pulls out and blows his load into her mouth to end the scene.

Chapter 2 - Asa Akira And Tommy Gunn: Stormy fantasizes about Asa making out with Tommy who here plays a monk. After Asa smokes a hookah pipe and teases us a bit, they get down to action and Asa gives him a nice blowjob. Chapter 6 - Stormy Daniels, Aiden Starr And Mick Blue: This last scene is the most interesting of the bunch as it features Stormy as Alice and Aiden and Mick as some other Wonderland characters. The DVD

Video:

This 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen shot on video production looks pretty clean presented here. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident in some of the darker colors and the blacks but other than that, there's not a lot to complain about. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything is coming up roses as far as the look of the film is concerned.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The soundtrack is mixed in properly at a respectable level so as not to overshadow the speaking parts when they do occur. Bass response is nice and lively and overall, for a porno movie, this is a better than average effort.

Extras:

There are two extras worth noting, the first of which is a bonus sex scene starring Stormy Daniels and Evan Stone from Operation Tropical Stormy. It takes place on a boat where Captain Evans gets her tits in his mouth before she blows him and titty fucks him. He eats her out and they go at it from a few different positions and then she sucks him to a finish all over her face and tits.

Aside from that, check out the Behind The Scenes Of Tormented (19:42) where we get a fly on the wall look at director Jonathan Morgan and his cast and crew putting this picture together. There are some impromptu interview bits here as well as a fair bit of alternate sex footage that makes this worth skimming through. It's all very low key and casual but it seems like all involved enjoyed themselves and that's got to count for something, right?

Rounding out the extras are trailers for a few other Wicked releases, animated menus and chapter selection.

Final Thoughts:

If you like Wicked Pictures' style and are after some couples friendly kink and don't mind some heavy theatrics and goofy costumes, Tormented might fit your bill but there isn't really anything here we haven't seen before and done with more style at that. The production values aren't bad but this all feels a bit old hat. Stormy's fanbase will want to see it, but it's hard to really whole heartedly recommend this. Rent it.
