Audio/Video:

The video was presented in anamorphic widescreen.  The video was shot in high-definition, but was not outstanding.  While all scenes were very good quality, the in between shots were a touch grainy at times and showed some artifacts.  Lighting was fine through-out, and did not to detract from the action being shown.  The audio was given in Dolby Digital 2.0.  The levels were fine through-out the movie, with dialog and background easily understood and nothing out of the ordinary.  The menu levels were a notch or two higher than any of the other footage, which is kind of annoying when returning home.

Body of Review:

Stefani is tired of living in Los Angeles, so she makes a deal with the Devil to become an angel in order to leave.  She does not die, just earns her wings.  Before she can leave some loose ends need to be tied up.  Along the way she crosses paths with a naughty angel working her way back into the city.  Has Stefani made the right choice, and in the end, does she have what it takes to leave?

Concluding Words:

Leaving Angel City is another in a long line of Vivid features.  Unfortunately I think this movie takes itself a bit too seriously and seems to lose direction easily.  At points Stefani is found speaking Shakespearean English, accent and all.  The sex was a bit boring, and this could partially be due to the performers and much as the acts themselves.

This movie is middle of the road when it comes to introducing to your mate.  The pros include plenty of attention paid to both performers, no extreme sex, and a bit of a plot.  The cons are nearly the same points.  The sex is calm, and short.  This will be good to keep a newcomer around.  Although the sex is lacking energy, at least is doesn't last too long.  The plot seems disjointed, and many people do not want to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what is happening in their fuck flick.

We are rating this just above average on the couples scale because there isn't anything that would necessarily turn off a viewer, but there isn't much to entice them to come back again.
