Extras: The best extra was the nearly 14 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Macdaddy that spent almost the entire length of the feature capturing photoshoots of the ladies while they were posing for the still. There was also a slide show (of those pictures), a true double sided DVD cover, and trailers to movies like Evil Bitches, Booty Island, Brazilian Island, and Fresh Asses.

Audio/Video Quality: South Beach Invasion was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by an uncredited director (listed only as Astrux Entertainment) for 1st Strike, a subsidiary of Nectar Entertainment. The lighting for the scenes was generally decent, with the exception of the initial scene at least, and this kept the picture looking good in 80% of the scenes. Even the first scene wasn't terrible looking but it had more rough edges than the others if you catch my drift. The grain wasn't bad, nor was the video noise, and I saw no compression artifacts to speak of. The composition of the shots almost always favored the ladies and enhanced their looks, though there were some parts that could've been edited better to pace the scenes more evenly. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was almost average, with the tease portion of the scenes crowded by lame music and the rest of the vocals handled well enough for porn.

Body of Review: One of the benefits to seeing a lot of porn is that it helps me separate the better titles from the wannabes easier than the guy who watches a handful a year. Having been a regular porn reviewer now for years has provided me with enough background to generally figure out where most directors are trying to go with a release, even to the point where their throwaway titles stand out like sore thumbs. Thankfully, the latest effort from 1st Strike, South Beach Invasion, wasn't such a title as it provided a series of unrelated vignettes with a lot to offer a fan. The women were attractive, the Spring Break theme handled lightly, and the visuals almost always appealing to me. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Cody Milo and Brea Bennett, the two gals from the front DVD cover (Cody standing up on the left side while Brea knelt on the right), were up first as they explored each other lesbian style in an old open car using a large sheepskin for comfort. The camera work wasn't exactly solid here with a number of issues relating to the lighting and saturation levels of the colors but my biggest issue was the mechanical nature of the sex they had together. Anyone that's seen When Harry Met Sally can fake pleasure better than Brea and the use of toys wasn't warranted so early in the scene. It started off slowly in a weak scene where the talented Cody Milo was hampered beyond her ability to recover but the movie soon picked up some healthy steam that provided some solid replay value for me along with some of the best bones in the business. In most ways, the action and technical values combined to showcase the performers nicely, as they sucked and fucked their way through their scenes. It could've had more fuck for the buck but the quality level of what was there sure will keep you busy for awhile.
