The Movie:

Celeste's showcase for the gorgeous Sophia Santi, Tryst doesn't really have much of a story to it even if it does attempt to provide some sort of document of a woman's journey thought sexual fantasy and imagination. Before reading any further, however, know that this is one of those irritating Digital Playground features that, while nicely shot and sexy as can be, features no dialogue or live audio - it's only music. If that's your bag, read on, if not, you'll probably want to spend your time with something else.

Here's a rundown of who fucks who and who they do it:

Scene 1 - Kapri Styles And Sophia Santi: This scene finds the girls hanging out on the couch when the mood hits them. The editing gets a little too tricky for its own good sometimes but aside from that this is an interesting, sexy and unique sex film that delivers just the kind of hardcore action you'd want it to.

The DVD

Video:

Tryst looks very good in this 1080p AVC 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There's an insane amount of detail present not only on the performers but also in the sets and backgrounds/sets used in the production. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction and skin tones look excellent throughout. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is. There's no dialogue though as far as the music goes the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either even if there isn't a whole lot of rear channel action worth noting.

Extras:

As seems to be the norm with their Blu-ray releases, Digital Playground has supplied only one real extra, and it's not a particularly exciting one. The eleven minute behind the scenes documentary shows the girls hanging out and prepping for their scenes and... that's about it. They do have some fun with some amusing fake credits here that gives it a few laughs, but they're not going for deep here so much as they're going for goofy - and they succeed.

Motion menus, seven Digital Playground trailers, a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release.

Final Thoughts:

The lack of any actual live audio is going to be a make it or break it point for some. If that's your bag and you're cool with that, you'll find that Tryst is a well made, interesting and sexy film. If you're not ok with that, you'll just wind up frustrated for the very same reasons. Rent it.
