Extras: The best extras were the three bonus scenes from previous movies. The first starring Sophia Lomeli & Ben English from Thrust lasting 21:17 minutes and a second scene starring Gia Paloma with Marco Banderas lasting 14:51 minutes as well as a third scene lasting 13:12 minutes between Nina Mercedez and Raymon Balboa (the last two scenes coming from “Latina Anal Heartbreakers” released by Hustler some years ago). There was a second side to the DVD cover and some trailers as well, the basic package okay by me.

Audio/Video Quality: Sexual Obsession was shot in the usual 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color by director Nina Mercedez for Heartbreaker Films. As expected, the MPEG-2 codec was used since this was a standard definition venture, the video bitrate hovering around the 3.8 Mbps mark when I spot checked it a few times. There was some grain and a lot of close up shots, the composition in most scenes looking kind of rough but limited banding and other visual detractions evident too, the lighting far from the best I’ve seen this week (but not the worst in every scene either). In general, it appeared as though whoever the camera crew was, they used a single camera at a time and focused mainly on capturing the ladies at work, the editing lacking in a variety of ways but probably fixing the camera work as best they could. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 48 kHz sampling rate and 256 KBPS bitrate, the aural qualities focusing as much on the ambient noises as the generic moans provided (making me think some of the vocals were just looped dubs or something akin to them). The music was third rate but that was expected given previous efforts, Sophia Santi certainly easier on the eyes than on the ears.

Body of Review: Nina Mercedez has worked diligently on making Heartbreaker Films a success of late, her first few fuck flicks best suited for targeted audiences. The latest of these is a dedicated presentation showcasing hotty Sophia Santi, the title being Sexual Obsession and every scene including her in various states of undress and going at a partner or two. While this could have described countless of her movies over the years (okay, maybe not “countless” but certainly more than a couple), the advertised selling point was that this movie included her first scene with a guy, Sophia actually working with three men and also offering a couple of lesbian scenes for those interested. For the record, I have also read other productions claiming they had her “first” scene with a guy or something similar, the bottom line for any of her legion of fans being that she did more cock here than in any of the others by a wide margin with some additional lesbian footage to boot. In all, that makes it a “must have” for anyone wanting to see Sophia Santi perform, the overall quality of the action decidedly mixed for the rest of the world. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sophia Santi, the babe featured on the right side of the front cover, was up first as she teased in a delicious manner, eventually displaying her wares to Voodoo for kicks. The montage gave way to them kissing and her colorful ensemble did not hug her frame for very long, Voodoo getting right down to business as he ate her ass and warmed her up for some oral and vaginal penetration. I’ll give her credit for trying to impress, her rough edges in need of more polishing up but the gal looking increasingly exotic as her tattooed back became ever more inked. Scene Two: Nina Mercedez, the suggested director and brunette featured on the lower left portion of the front cover, was up next in a sheer black dress while she paired up with bikini babe Sophia Santi. They were on an aqua colored couch and went at each other with a lot of oral, titty play, and box munching, some toy use coming into view well into the movie. The lighting varied too much and the saturation levels suffered as a result, the ladies showing a love connection early on to elevate the levels of heat displayed.

Scene Three: Sophia Santi, next up in a well lit room wearing a light purple bikini on the bed, gave Jerry a run for his moper money as she slobbed his knob with a degree or two of passion. He gave at least as well as he received in terms of the oral love here, soon plowing her fertile fields for all he was worth while she kind of hung on for the ride. His cock was smaller than Voodoo’s so it was easier for her to at least try and work her hips around him, their early 69 looking like enough fun that I would’ve liked to taste her myself. While she did handle his cock a fair amount using her hand and mouth, she was again too passive a rider for my tastes, never really showing much enthusiasm for working with the guy. This limited the replay value and strokability too much to give it a pass but some might enjoy the ending wad of spunk deposited on her ass cheeks.

Scene Four: Audrey Bitoni, a popular brunette with serious curves, and Sophia Santi, were up next in another lesbian scene; both of them wearing skimpy bikini lingerie as they went orally insane on each other. There was additional 69 footage this time and Sophia showed she could aggressively ride a cock as long as it was small and plastic, her hips bouncing up and down as she should have done in the scenes with males. That said, the two ladies did not appear to be lipstick lesbians so much as performers working a known audience, enough stroke material to fill the spank banks of anyone not needing a wealth of population pudding from a parolee to get off to.

For Sophia Santi fans, this was what we have been waiting for, Sophia more active unless she was flat on her stomach getting pounded from behind as she laid down, Kayme assisting in the action more than a little bit. Summary: Sexual Obsession by director Nina Mercedez for Heartbreaker Films offered up nearly two and a half hours of footage starring Sophia Santi, some of it pretty solid overall and even the worst of it worth a midweek splurge so I rated it as a Rent It for the general population and a “must have” for her loyal fans. Some of her best work was still doing ladies such as Audrey Bitoni, Kayme Kai, and Nina Mercedez but the men showed that her ice queen past is slowly giving way to a new, improved performer; the kind more fans could learn to flock towards if she picks up the pace a little bit more. In short then, Sexual Obsession had a little something for everyone but a lot of tattooed Penthouse Pet Sophia Santi, adjust your ratings according to how much you appreciate her curvy figure, seductive good looks, and newfound love of cock.
