Audio/Video Quality: Just Girls was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen color the movie was shot in by director Chris Rolie for Jules Jordan Video in the MPEG-2 codec used for standard definition releases (including 480i resolution). There was some variation in the lighting that added additional grain but I saw a few other issues as the camera kept an active stance at providing the best angles to showcase the ladies (the shaking camera bugging me a bit more than I liked). The editing did not help in this endeavor either with a movie as long as this one needing extra care to make sure that there is enough tease but also heated sexual antics, my initial impression being that there was less tease footage than usual which admittedly hurt the rating. The bitrate was on the low side (probably due to the single disc nature of the production) yet there were few obvious compression artifacts, the aliasing minimal and given the sheer amount of quality footage on display, most fans will be quite happy. The bitrate hovered all over the place this time, higher than usual with most of the movie in the 4.6 Mbps range, but varying across the board depending on the scene. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering that really didn't use any separation in terms of the vocals (there was some potential to do so here too). The dynamic range was also kind of generic, an area that seemed slightly better than earlier efforts and an area that Raul could easily improve to make best use of the great many home theaters in the hands of porn fans everywhere.

Body of Review: Chris Rolie shoots under a couple of aliases, his hardcore work distributed by Jules Jordan Video considered some of his very best. While I tend to let my associates have the bulk of his titles, I picked up Just Girls the other day to enjoy some hard lesbian antics, a wealth of toys, anal, and attractive young ladies on hand to make it work for me. The five scenes lasted just under three hours but the bonus scene (starring hotty Sophia Santi) was a nice treat, the most driven of the scenes coming from the two with Clara G. (Chris’ partner in porn). Consider this one if you are into Olympic limit pushing by the ladies, the fun factor a bit less than some of the director’s other releases to date. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Carli Banks and Brooke Belle

Scene One: Peaches and Bambi, a couple of Euro-whores dressed up in fetish lingerie, were up first by the pool as the makeup girl finished. Their fishnet stockings enhanced their strong legs and their accents sounded amusing as they fingered and fed the juices to one another, Clara G assisting with some choking. There was some oral but the fingering dominated the first portion of the scene just as the anal toys dominated the latter half, the ladies lacking some of the fun factor seen in other director’s work for the company but still pushing limits soundly. As expected, there was no genetic juice or population pudding but it wasn’t a terrible start to the show at all. Scene Two: Tarra White and Clara G., the two ladies featured in colorful apparel on the upper right hand portion of the front cover, were up next as Clara welcomed Tarra to Budapest. They teased a little outside but went indoors for the sexual frolicking, the clothing tossed aside as they sucked tits, ate each other out, and began using toys in the living room. Clara is one of those sexual dynamos that always adds to a scene, the fun factor elevated and the kinky hardcore action enhanced as a result. From the company website: “Well I think you know how it is guys, some girls you wanna fuck and some girls you gotta fuck, Tarra White is a gotta fuck. Clara G shows how to do it.”

Scene Three: Kenzi Marie and Jennifer, the young ladies featured on the lower left hand corner wearing what would be considered patriotic stripper clothes had they been in the USA, met with Clara as she directed the action from behind the camera held by Chris. There was almost some male interaction here too but he calmed down as ordered and the formulaic lesbian action took place out by the pool. They used a plethora of toys and showed some care during the anal penetration, Clara always in charge as she barked out orders like a foreign version of Chi Chi Larue. The levels of chemistry were not as great because of that premise, the women at least smart enough to provide some showmanship to balance things out. From the company website: “These two beautiful horny chicks really love each other long time in this clip.”

Scene Four: Brooke Belle and Carli Banks, the attractive gals shown on the upper left hand corner of the front cover, were up next as Clara spoke highly of the Los Angeles weather. It was a picture perfect day and her friends came driving up in a car, dressed to the hilt though their makeup was more than a little garish. They went inside to the living room couch where the interview revealed the two ladies had been friends for a long time (since high school), soon beginning with some spanking (Brooke demanding that Carli hit her harder). From there, they were all over each other orally, getting off and showing a lot of chemistry before deploying some toys. That gave this scene a different appeal than some of the earlier scenes of the movie in terms of the ladies actually getting off in a friendly manner, ending with a shower. From the company website: “Pink tacos are on the menu along with double orgasms, choking, slapping and all types of wild ass shit.”

Scene Five: Suzie Carina and Clara G. ended the show with what amounted to a commercial for the “Free Ones” website, Chris goofing around at the beginning like he was James Bond. The ladies wore company apparel and had the same generous amounts of makeup on they seem to favor in Chris’ movies, tossing aside the clothing to eat each other out. The shaky camera provided ample amounts of close up shots of their sweet asses (and other body parts), a lot of attention to rimming included before the toys came out. As with most scenes, the vaginal toy use expanded to anal and even some technical DP work, the oral never stopping as they finished up strong, Clara again dominating the heat and energy of the scene. From the company website: “Everybody who loves to see 2 hot nasty girls with a dildo playing with each other must watch this scene.”

Summary: Just Girls by director Chris Rolie for Jules Jordan Video was not the best effort from the director but it certainly contained enough lesbian fuck for the buck to merit a rating of Recommended or better given the heated sexual trysts, the manner in which the ladies gave each other pleasure while pushing their limits, and the lack of fourth tier meat puppets getting in the way. The replay value and strokability were pretty solidly defined so fans of lesbian action that isn’t all lovey-dovey will probably appreciate it most. In short, the technical values of Just Girls might not win any meaningful awards but the pairing of so many sexually powerful ladies trying to get off sure made it worth the wait so give it a chance.
