Audio/Video Quality: Guilty Pleasures was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Nate Liquor for Zero Tolerance using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases with a 480 resolution. The lighting was strong, eliminating the shadows and grain I dislike so much, the overall look of the show being just as good as most gonzo offerings these days. The bitrate tended to hover around the mid 5.1 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it, the composition of the camera angles typically optimal for the ladies. The composition of the scenes enhanced the look of the ladies, each of them used to softer lighting in recent scenes, this particular cast able to handle the added lighting quite well. The sole audio track was presented in 1.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited but much like the gonzo titles he likes to shoot. There was also no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers. The voices could be clearly heard though, the balancing between those and the music capably handled.

Body of Review: Nate Liquor is a popular director at Zero Tolerance, his recent excursions into the parody world drawing him additional acclaim. His latest title picked to me for review is Guilty Pleasures, a five scene all sex flick starring such notable hotties as Raven Alexis, Tara Lynn Foxx, and Sophia Santi. There was again a slight nod to comedy with the advertised “Coffee Shop Sex Stories” elements added in, but nothing too boring to kill the mood if you’re looking for some quality time with your own hand. Sophia Santi was featured on the cover, the babe now trying to jumpstart her career by finally doing men, and for that alone it might merit extra attention by some. The back cover described the movie like this: “When Pete meets Rocco at the local java-joint to check out the slutty baristas, he gets a lot more than an extra shot in his latte. He's grinding in the coffee shop bathroom - but it ain't beans! Meanwhile Mark's becoming obsessed with the porn movie that his wife brought home to spice up their sex life, and poor John is "stuck" with a super-kinky wife Tara while he just wants to have plain old-fashioned sex. Each caffeinated vignette will have you buzzing with anticipation while these everyday guys get sucked and fucked silly by all the smokin' hot horny chicks they know!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Summary: Guilty Pleasures by director Nate Liquor for Zero Tolerance really did not stick to the thematic bridge that was supposed to tie the scenes together but in reality, I don’t think it should have given the limitations involved. The cast of ladies was sufficient to merit some positive attention so I rated it as Recommended, the scenes starring Sophia Santi, Tar Lynn Foxx, and Raven Alexis each standing out as better than average. The replay value and strokability was as solid as most company efforts, the technical qualities typically pretty good (except the second scene), and the casting enhanced the final product to the point where fans of the ladies will appreciate it in most cases. In short, Guilty Pleasures was a fun fuck flick for raincoaters to enjoy, the sex never straying into extreme venues but providing some modest thrills all the same so give it a look.
