Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 full frame color, as expected. As expected, the picture quality varied quite a bit since there were nearly four hours of material compressed on the single DVD, and the scenes were shot over a long period of time, under a wide variety of circumstances. There was a lot of grain, video noise, and other problems, including lighting issues and camera angles gone astray. Some of the scenes looked okay but again, for under $10, you're getting a lot of scenes. The audio varied nearly as much with a lot of hollow vocals and bad music.

Body of Review: A lot of people enjoy getting compilations these days since there tends to be a lot of fuck for your buck in them. Each company takes a different approach to selling their compilations and Cherry Boxxx Pictures seems content with competing by quantity and price rather than absolute quality of the scenes. This is not a problem for many bargain hunters as getting so much material for what almost amounts to a rental in many places seems like a great idea, even if the women aren't top notch hotties. Such is the case with most scenes in Smokin' Hot Cherries.

The sixteen scenes didn't appear to have anyone that would qualify as a "cherry" and the "smokin' hot" label wouldn't be reasonably applied to most of them either (maybe if it were closing time at a local bar, you'd think that though). In short, the collection of scenes had some lesbian but mostly straight scene with an emphasis on male/female action, no mandatory condom policy, and lots of oral sex, regardless of who did whom.

Some women were all natural, others had implants and essentially, the only thing the scenes had in common was that the company owned the rights to them. The ages varied and the settings were almost all located indoors with a low budget look to them. Some were pretty solid for the type of compilation this was and others were less so but given the cost, it's tough to be harsh to the DVD. Cherry Boxxx Pictures has a lot of these for sale so if you're looking for generic porn, this isn't too bad.

Summary: I'm going to rate this one as a Rent It much like the other Cherry Boxxx Picture compilations I've seen recently. Some of their newer titles are really fun but their compilations are more designed for bargain hunters. If you're in the market for cheap porn, the up side to them is that I have yet to see a scene duplicated on any of their compilations, something I can't say the same for with companies such as Vivid (well known for its many compilations these days).
