Audio/Video Quality: Control was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films under their Skow Digital line. Mike Towers worked the cameras and the editing by Sonny Malone was good in most cases, David Stanley’s dark writing once again giving the company bragging rights under the belief that “controversy sells”. The flesh tones were accurate despite some dark locations and the visual elements seemed more focused this time overall, no company watermark observed or distracting elements. The stereo aural aspects of the movie were fairly well done, the vocals easily understood, the uncredited music impacting the quality of production in a good way.

Body of Review: B. Skow is the most controversial director in porn at this writing, his recent works at Girlfriends Films ranging from creepy to gruesome with little middle ground to appreciate. His latest flick is called Control, a drama involving a willingly submissive women (played by Skin Diamond) and a creepy little dominant who wants more from her, some twists and turns showing that different people have different needs. With Skin Diamond and Claire Robbins as the female leads and Scott Lyons as the mope in charge, I expected something well off the beaten track to say the least. The back cover described the movie like this: “Skin and Alex have an arrangement. She does absolutely anything he asks, including cooking, cleaning, and whenever Alex wishes it, bending over so he can cum in her. There is only one thing skin won't do, tell him she loves him, but he is determined. To throw him off course, Skin enlists a girl from the neighborhood to become her slave in training, hoping he will turn his attention to her instead. But When Alex discovers Skin's plan, he decides to test this decoy and see how much she can take. Skin catches on and tries to save the girl before he hurts her, but the decoy doesn’t want to leave. She likes it and wants to stay.”

The press release then said: “Perhaps no director is building such a strong collection of diverse titles as B.Skow, but the work that has brought him the most attention of late are his psychological sexual thrillers and the next on—Control —is nearing release. Skin Diamond and Scott Lyons lead in this intense movie about a couple with an arrangement: She does absolutely anything he asks. This includes cooking, cleaning—anything Scott wants, he gets it. If he wants her to bend over and shoot a load inside her, she bends over and helps his get it inside her. There’s only one thing she won’t do for him: She won’t say that she loves him. He’s determined to hear her say it. To throw him off-course, Skin enlists a neighbor girl to become her slave-in-training, hoping she can attract Scott’s attentions away from her. Scott discovers the plan and tests this new girl to see how much she can handle. Skin realizes what's happening and tries to get the girl to leave before Scott really hurts her, but she doesn't want to go. She likes it. She wants to stay. Control again showcases Skow’s ability to pull fantastic performances out of his cast—it also stars Claire Robbins, Darla Crane, Alec Knight and Kurt Lockwood—and everyone turns in performances that will be ranked among the finest of their careers. David Stanley’s screenplay is quickly recognizable by the mind-bending twists characteristic of his work and this is one of the finest from one of the best writers the industry has known. The Skow-Stanley matchup turns out another gem, which will be no surprise to the thousands of fans who anxiously await each new Skow for Girlfriends release. They know there is nothing else quite like it” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Skin Diamond, the beautiful exotic black gal featured on the upper half of the front cover, was up first in some sexy black lingerie and a metallic cover as she set to service moper Scott Lyons in bed. She slowly slobbed his knob, his size such that when using both of her hands, she easily reached around his turgid rod and had extra room to spare. He then swatted her lightly, her sweet ass barely moving as he seemed afraid of giving her a good hard hit like others have done in the past. The opening credits then played and there were some minimal teases of a sexual nature before the next scene.

Scene Two: Darla Crane, a busty MILF with a ton of freckles, was up next as scruffy Alec Knight played with her. They were age appropriate for one another as he pressed her against the door and she pawed his package, Alec diving into her ass with his fuzzy face before some vaginal pounding of her bald beaver on a small black couch. She was a passive rider in missionary who would make random yelling noises despite his cock not always being as firm as it should have been, the gal pumping him by hand to ready him for some cowgirl action where she finally came across as being active at times. Scene Three: Skin Diamond, next up in her cover outfit, engaged Claire Robbins, also in her cover outfit, in a lesbian tryst. Claire’s looks were downplayed to make her look plain but her pretty blue eyes betrayed the plain look someone decided she needed for the role. She followed Skin’s lead as the exotic black gal initiated chunkier Clair into the wonderful world of BDSM. Clair had a small pubic patch and while she was not as smoking hot as Skin, few women truly are, she did seem capable enough of sucking the strap on dildo that Skin presented her. Once warmed up, the ladies took the show to the bed where Scott was reclining, his bulging eyes as creepy now as they always have been. There was some non-explicit moments with him but for all intents he was a bystander this time, the “load” that was cumswapped looking nothing at all like human sperm. Claire than gobbled gash and Skin attached the strap on to her hips where Skin showed her how to look sexy riding one, some oral and fingering by both ladies in their 69 finishing them off.

Scene Four: Claire Robbins, in red bikini undies, was up next with Kurt Lockwood in bed. He was tanned and she was still pale, the gal making faces like he disgusted her throughout the scene. For his small feature role, Kurt took care of her better than the other males had serviced their own ladies, munching her trimmed cookie and fingering her to get her juices flowing. She smiled and they kissed, eliminating the likelihood of a rape theme quickly as they appeared to be into each other. His hand dropped down to massage her crotch through her shorts and he carried her over to a wildly convenient mattress nearby, Bonnie ditching her shorts as fast as she could remove them while he kissed and sucked her body all over. Summary: Control by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films merited a rating of Rent It or better depending on how much you like darker features. The trouble with this one is that it was so narrowly cast as a feature, the story loses most of the impact on a second viewing, limiting the replay value substantially. The sexual elements rely so heavily on sexually third tier males and one current star, Skin Diamond, that while her biggest fans might consider this a “must have”, everyone else will get limited inspiration a time or two at best. In short, Control was an interesting feature about a mousy mope dominating an exotic beauty in a way no one would believe, the beauty’s plan set in motion better tying the sexual and feature elements than usual so give it a look.
