Extras The same sub-standard set of extras as every other GF release; Promos, Trailers, cast montage, web address.  How easy would it be to include a few still photos and an edited scene from the loads of footage in the vault? Very easy, but still, GF neglects an easy way to score points.

A/V Shot and presented in HD.  Well-lit and blocked scenes, even capturing the mood in a candle-lit bathtub scene.  Dolby Digital, 2-channel audio was sufficient for the dialogue, musical interludes, and sexy sounds.

Preview This is the first of a two-part review.  I thought I would watch a couple entries into a particular GF series to see if there was any connection besides the titles.  The taglines on the cover proclaim Drama to the Highest Degree, and volume 12 in this 3 year-old series has the subtitle Cheaters.  Aside from the dramatic curiosity, Siri, Laurie Vargas and Yurizan Beltran were major draws. The most recently reviewed edition of GF's harder sex series, Volume 10, was Highly Recommended by Apache Warrior.

Scene View Starting the scene off in nothing but knit shorts was Capri Anderson, dancing around her bedroom before lying down to pleasure herself.  Capri is a petite cutie, who doesn't stand out in my memory.  She is nervous that her girlfriend, Monique Alexander, has been unfaithful.  The set-up drama was on the level of a late-night cable flick, with a little too much nervous laughter.  For those who get bored with GF's typically long intros, there is a little something in the way of skin to tide you over, with the aforementioned rub-down, and a shot of Monique's nicely done boobage floating in the bath water.  This was a scene I liked, and would watch again.  Both chicks were hot, and I like the body art on Monique.  The ladies seemed to enjoy each other, and it seems a woman or couple of women would enjoy this scene as much as I did.  The decision to put these two on the DVD cover was a good one.

Skip the second scene, it's crap.  Now that I've warned you...Sophia Lomeli is an older Latina with a thicker body than the pixies in the previous scene.  She steps out on her boyfriend (a male in a brief, non-sex role opens the scene) to see her girlfriend, Sophia Jade, another thick girl of Asian extraction. S.Jade has a nice solo-mas bit, in anticipation of S.Lomeli's arrival. The set-up could have used some script editing and some re-takes, because the "acting" came off pretty poorly; having something to do with my rapidly declining interest. Having suffered through the bogus intro, the uninspired couch sex did nothing to reverse course.  This is one in which they seemed to be going through the motions, and faking the noises, so much so that I was surprised to see an almost exclusively lesbian resume on Sophia Jade's iafd resume.  The redeeming value of this bit is that it features a change of pace, with two ethnic women, with thicker bodies.

The third and fourth scenes are related, so I'll address them together.  The drama revolves around four women who live in an apartment complex and meet in the laundry room or the halls.  There was a bit of good shot selection here, as the director (whoever it was) made what was probably a house, pass reasonably well for said apartment.  I'm liking the solo-mas clips, and for this set of scenes, we begin with the voluptuous Siri showing off her goodies, ostensibly while watching Road Queen, another of GF's long-running titles.  Siri's girlfriend, Yurizan Beltran is doing laundry, and flirting with newbie, Natalie Heart. Wading through some poorly written but decently acted (you have to watch to see what I mean) plot development lets the viewer know that Laurie Vargas is as unhappy with Natalie as Yuri is with Siri.  I'll remind you that the subtitle is Cheaters, and respect your intelligence enough to skip to the good stuff.

I hate the way couch sex limits the lesbian lovemaking, but I love the smoking hot bodies on Natalie and Yuri, as well as the steamy action.  Definitely a scene to see again.  I won't mind seeing more of Natalie in the future.

Although I'm led to wonder about Laurie's English skills, the skills displayed by her and Siri on the bed left nothing to be desired.  This pairing was the reason I wanted to review this movie, and it paid of big!. Not only was there a great deal of passion and energy, there was a good appearant chemistry between the ladies.  English skills aside, Laurie's accent when squeling, "Eat my pussy" was priceless.  The visual contrasts between Laurie's athletic physique and deep tan, paired with Siri's pillowy softness and milky white complexion were a joy to behold.  This was easily the best sceene, and one worth a few replays.

Final Thoughts / Review Not quite a home run, but still entertaining and arousing.  This should definitely appeal to those wanting drama and skin, although, not necessarily great drama, but enough to get you into the mood.  The 2nd scene is one to skip, but the rest will please anyone who knows what to expect from Girlfriends Films, namely, an attempt to dramatize sex between strangers, plenty of kissing and interactions between women who, for the most part, love other women.  Lesbian PsychoDramas 12 is Recommended.
