Audio/Video Quality: Playing With Myself was a selection of ten scenes shot for the internet in anamorphic widescreen to be distributed on DVD by Pure Play Media that originally came from Aura Productions. The lighting was generally even in the multitude of settings and the camera work often just stayed static in one place as the gal went at it, the resolution on the low end in most cases with bit rates hovering in the mid 4.1 Mbps area when spot checked. If there was much editing, I didn’t notice, a few abrupt angle changes about all she wrote here, the flesh tones fairly accurate as the ladies gave decent solo performances. The aural components of the scenes did not vary much either, the vocals easily heard in most cases if hollow in their execution, some moaning and dirty talk included with minimal music to get in the way of your enjoyment.

Body of Review: Pure Play Media has become one of the biggest distributors of porn for a multitude of production companies that don’t want to deal with all the headaches now that physical media like DVD has become just one more revenue stream. Today’s title from them was courtesy of Aura Productions and called Playing With Myself, a selection of ten porn performers who engaged in some solo masturbation scenes without any help from a partner. The scenes all appeared to be dedicated solo scenes too, not merely clipped from a longer scene as I have seen in the past, some of the hotties including cover gal Shyla Stylez, London Keyes, Jayden Jaymes, and others worth a look. While this is likely to be overlooked by many folks, some fussing at me for “wasting time” by “covering smaller companies”, I thought it worth checking out based on the list of ladies alone, these scenes short and clearly taken some time ago. There wasn’t a lot of variation in the action so my verbiage below will be brief but you could do far worse than this one in my opinion, especially if you like seeing ladies get themselves off. The back cover described the movie like this: “The hottest women in porn are all alone and are ready to put on a special show for you! Using fingers and toys, these girls know all the right spots to touch, tease and rub to get themselves - and you - off! It's a pussy stuffing, clit rubbing sextravaganza!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Scarlett Pain, a tattooed lady taking a piss on a toilet before rubbing one out, was up first in a black crop top as the redhead used a douche to clean herself out.

The technical qualities were not always the best and the minimal extras added did little to make me think I’d pay top dollar but for two hours of strokable fun with some modest degree of replay value with ladies like Shyla Stylez, London Keyes, and Jayden Jaymes certainly made Playing With Myself worth checking out, the varied scenery more diverse than you will find at some of the largest companies these days.
